Adam Leadercramer

Adam is a partner specialising in commercial, technology, data and IP work for clients in the sports and media sectors. He joined Onside Law in 2010, having spent 6 years with leading City firm, Allen & Overy, primarily in its Communications, Media and Technology department. Adam is very commercial and sensible, he looks for the best way for the client to get what they need. Adam acts for a broad range of clients including individuals, rightsholders, teams, agencies, brands and data-driven businesses. He has also spent time on secondment at the Rugby Football Union and the Lawn Tennis Association. Adam's practice predominantly involves general commercial matters including supply of goods/services contracts, agreements relating to the exploitation of data, software and intellectual property rights and sponsorship/endorsement contracts. He has particular experience in the fields of technology, digital media and broadcasting. Adam is a long-suffering Millwall fan and appears to have successfully indoctrinated his children into following the family tradition.

Emily Brandrick

Emily joined Onside Law in August 2021, having previously worked for high profile Fashion and Beauty Brands. Emily assists with the administration of Onside Law, day to day running of the office and the planning of events. Emily has a love for Musical Theatre and Dance and can often be found training in the gym.

Felicity Wilson

Felicity joined Onside Law at the beginning of 2021. Prior to this she worked in various administrative roles across the property and travel industry. As well as providing executive support to the board, Felicity also manages the non-legal and business administration aspects of Onside Law across London, Australia and Switzerland. She is responsible for the day to day running of the firm as well as the HR function, marketing and event management. Prior to moving to London Felicity spent five years working in the Alps across France and Switzerland.

Flora Peel

Flora joined Onside law at the end of 2021 as our new Paralegal. She will assist and work with the team as a whole, covering all areas of expertise. Prior to joining Onside, Flora worked at Bird & Bird for two years in the Dispute Litigation team. Away from the office, Flora has experience as a professional sports player in both hockey and as an ex-ski racer. She has represented GB and England squads in both sports and currently plays professional hockey for Team GB. When not actively playing sport herself, she is likely to be found searching for the old glory days at Manchester United and walking her puppy!

George Cottle

George is an associate specialising in dispute resolution and regulatory matters for clients in the sports and media sectors. Prior to joining Onside Law, George trained at Mishcon de Reya. Away from the office, George is an avid West Ham United fan and keen runner after a knee injury brought his football playing days to an end last year. He has recently taken up yoga in a last-ditch attempt to stave off various recurring injuries.

Giuseppe Guerreri

Harriet Leach - Chief Legal Officer

Harriet's core practice is corporate law but she also has significant experience in commercial matters and corporate governance. Since joining Onside Law, Harriet has enjoyed secondments at national governing bodies, the BHA and the WRU. Recent highlights include closing a SEIS/EIS fundraising for Jennis (Jessica Ennis-Hill) and acting on the transfer of ownership of a football club. Harriet leads the firm's engagement with Women in Football.

Henry Don

He is superb; he has a wealth of experience and his counsel on sensitive issues is invaluable.

Jerry McGrath

Lauren Tainsh

Lauren joined Onside Law in September 2022, having previously worked in Publishing and Media. Lauren assists with the day to day running of the office, as well as lending support to the partners and fee earners. Lauren has a love of reading, and can normally be found with her head in a book, or taking to her yoga mat for a relaxing workout.

Leon Farr

Leon is a Partner specialising in commercial and regulatory work for clients in the sports and media sectors. Prior to Onside Law, Leon trained and qualified at US law firm Jones Day. Leon has a wide range of in-house experience having spent two years on secondment at Lord's Cricket Ground, where he acted as the lead lawyer for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 organising committee. In 2020, Leon spent six months on secondment with FIFA, primarily advising their sponsorship, licensing and digital teams. Leon is also a contributing author to the comprehensive legal review: Football and the Law Leon is a Liverpool FC fan, and can often be found telling anyone who will listen about the time he played centre-mid against Patrik Berger and Vladimir Šmicer.

Nathan Chambers

Nathan is an associate in the commercial team. Since joining Onside Law, Nathan has been involved in a range of contentious, commercial, employment and corporate matters. Prior to joining he previously sat with the technology, outsourcing and commercial team at a US law firm as well as an in-house legal team for film & TV financing. Nathan is well versed in various football governing body regulations and has advised various agents on how to prepare for the FIFA Football Agent Exam. Nathan has also appeared before the Court of Arbitration for Sport to assist Senior Counsel with a dispute between a professional football player and a football agent. Away from his desk, Nathan can be found re-living the Arsenal glory days and telling everyone that he is the best FIFA video game player around.

Oliver Hunt

Oliver is a founding partner of Onside Law, and a Sports Law ‘veteran' having first practised in the industry 25 years ago. Having trained and qualified at Nabarros, Oliver was seconded to IMG on several occasions prior to joining the in-house legal team permanently in 1999. Oliver is professional yet personable, he's extremely thorough, an excellent communicator and a clear strategist. Oliver is a Commercial lawyer, and is well known for acting for Talent, particularly in golf and football. Oliver has been acting for Sir Nick Faldo for over 20 years and counts some of the biggest names in world sport as clients. Oliver has published a number of articles, has appeared as an expert on the BBC News, and has featured in the likes of Sports Business, The New York Times, The Times and the Daily Telegraph as a sports law expert. Oliver is recommended by independent legal directories Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners as a leading sports law practitioner where he is described as "hardworking, thorough and personable", and an "excellent communicator and clear strategist" (Legal 500). Paul Musa

Paul also sits on the Management Committee of the Association of Sporting Directors, an organisation with the aim of supporting, connecting, and developing over 400 global members and sharing insight into the role.

Simon Thorp has comprehensive understanding of sports sector; investment, good governance innovation, well-connected and highly supportive. Simon is a non-executive director at Gloucester Rugby. Simon enjoys playing all forms of sport (particularly those involving a ball) reaching a high level in tennis including previously captaining the Queen's Club first team (a long time ago now!). Simon also assists his former university, Durham, on the development of their sport's programme and infrastructure.
