Adam is a partner specialising in commercial, technology, data and IP work for clients in the sports and media sectors. He joined Onside Law in 2010, having spent 6 years with leading City firm, Allen & Overy, primarily in its Communications, Media and Technology department.
Adam is very commercial and sensible, he looks for the best way for the client to get what they need.
Adam acts for a broad range of clients including individuals, rightsholders, teams, agencies, brands and data-driven businesses. He has also spent time on secondment at the Rugby Football Union and the Lawn Tennis Association.
Adam's practice predominantly involves general commercial matters including supply of goods/services contracts, agreements relating to the exploitation of data, software and intellectual property rights and sponsorship/endorsement contracts. He has particular experience in the fields of technology, digital media and broadcasting.
Adam is a long-suffering Millwall fan and appears to have successfully indoctrinated his children into following the family tradition.
Alex is an associate focusing on commercial and IP work for clients in the sports and media sectors.
Alex leads the firm's employment practice in the UK and advises on the full range of employment law and HR issues across sport, both contentious and non-contentious.
Ben specialises in M&A and investments in sport and media. In particular, he has expert knowledge of private equity and venture capital, founder exits, funding rounds, ownership structures and corporate governance.
Charlie is a senior associate focusing on commercial and corporate work for clients in the sports and media sectors. Prior to joining Onside Law, Charlie trained and qualified at Allen & Overy in the corporate department, spending time on secondment at the Milan office.
Chris advises on all aspects of employment law, from everyday human resources legal issues to complex and high profile matters involving senior executives and key staff.
Chris is a partner specialising in a broad spectrum of contentious and commercial matters, primarily in the sport sector, both nationally and internationally. He joined Onside Law in 2007, having qualified and spent several years with leading City firm, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
Claire is an associate focusing on commercial work for clients in the sports and media sectors. Before joining Onside Law, Claire trained at Reed Smith where she spent time on secondment to Bauer Media Group.
Emily joined Onside Law in August 2021, having previously worked for high profile Fashion and Beauty Brands.
Emily assists with the administration of Onside Law, day to day running of the office and the planning of events.
Emily has a love for Musical Theatre and Dance and can often be found training in the gym.
Felicity joined Onside Law at the beginning of 2021. Prior to this she worked in various administrative roles across the property and travel industry.
As well as providing executive support to the board, Felicity also manages the non-legal and business administration aspects of Onside Law across London, Australia and Switzerland. She is responsible for the day to day running of the firm as well as the HR function, marketing and event management.
Prior to moving to London Felicity spent five years working in the Alps across France and Switzerland.
Flora joined Onside law at the end of 2021 as our new Paralegal. She will assist and work with the team as a whole, covering all areas of expertise. Prior to joining Onside, Flora worked at Bird & Bird for two years in the Dispute Litigation team.
Away from the office, Flora has experience as a professional sports player in both hockey and as an ex-ski racer. She has represented GB and England squads in both sports and currently plays professional hockey for Team GB.
When not actively playing sport herself, she is likely to be found searching for the old glory days at Manchester United and walking her puppy!
George is an associate specialising in dispute resolution and regulatory matters for clients in the sports and media sectors. Prior to joining Onside Law, George trained at Mishcon de Reya.
Away from the office, George is an avid West Ham United fan and keen runner after a knee injury brought his football playing days to an end last year. He has recently taken up yoga in a last-ditch attempt to stave off various recurring injuries.

Fluent in Italian, French and Spanish, Giuseppe is a key member of Onside Law's Swiss Group and frequently advises clients with connections to continental Europe and Latin America.

Hannah is an associate specialising in dispute resolution and regulatory matters in the sport sector in particular - including in Formula 1, football, tennis and cricket. She advises individuals, clubs, governing bodies and commercial organisations, both nationally and internationally.
Hannah Kent is a superstar associate. All over the detail. Extraordinary memory. Never drops the ball.
Harriet's core practice is corporate law but she also has significant experience in commercial matters and corporate governance. Since joining Onside Law, Harriet has enjoyed secondments at national governing bodies, the BHA and the WRU. Recent highlights include closing a SEIS/EIS fundraising for Jennis (Jessica Ennis-Hill) and acting on the transfer of ownership of a football club. Harriet leads the firm's engagement with Women in Football.
Henry is a Senior Associate specialising in M&A, investments, private equity, funding rounds, corporate governance and other general corporate matters in sport, media and entertainment. Before joining Onside Law, Henry was an associate at Travers Smith.
James is a Partner specialising in commercial, media and digital work for clients across the sports and media industries.
Jamie is a founding partner of Onside Law. He qualified into the Commercial department at Clifford Chance and joined IMG in 2000. He was principal legal advisor to IMG's tennis, sponsorship and models divisions until Onside Law's launch in 2005.
He is superb; he has a wealth of experience and his counsel on sensitive issues is invaluable.

Jerry joined Onside Law to launch and head our Swiss Office in Geneva. Jerry advises on a wide range of commercial and intellectual property matters including sponsorship, media rights, licensing and event organization, promotion, bidding and hosting.
Jon Morgan - Chief Legal Officer
Jon advises clients on a broad range of commercial and competition matters, including commercial contracts, IP licensing, technology and digital agreements and data protection. Jon has particular expertise in advising on competition law-related matters that arise in the context of commercial contracts.
Josh is an associate specialising in commercial and IP work for clients in the sports and media sectors.
Josh has experience advising on a variety of commercial contracts across the sport and media sectors for clients including international federations, national governing bodies, clubs, brands, event organisers, agencies, production companies, digital platform operators and talent.
Prior to joining Onside Law, Josh worked at TEAM Marketing where he advised UEFA on commercial rights agreements relating to the UEFA Champions League and other various UEFA club competitions across UEFA's commercial programme.
Away from the office, Josh can be found contemplating his return to rugby before retiring again, for the 4 th time.

Kendall joined Onside Law in 2021 to head our Australian Offices in Sydney and Melbourne. Kendall is a corporate and commercial lawyer with extensive experience in Australia and the UK advising international federations, national federations, teams, sponsors and government sports agencies.
Lauren joined Onside Law in September 2022, having previously worked in Publishing and Media.
Lauren assists with the day to day running of the office, as well as lending support to the partners and fee earners.
Lauren has a love of reading, and can normally be found with her head in a book, or taking to her yoga mat for a relaxing workout.
Leon is a Partner specialising in commercial and regulatory work for clients in the sports and media sectors. Prior to Onside Law, Leon trained and qualified at US law firm Jones Day.
Leon has a wide range of in-house experience having spent two years on secondment at Lord's Cricket Ground, where he acted as the lead lawyer for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 organising committee. In 2020, Leon spent six months on secondment with FIFA, primarily advising their sponsorship, licensing and digital teams. Leon is also a contributing author to the comprehensive legal review: Football and the Law
Leon is a Liverpool FC fan, and can often be found telling anyone who will listen about the time he played centre-mid against Patrik Berger and Vladimir Šmicer.
Lily is an associate specialising in dispute resolution and regulatory matters in the sports sector. Prior to joining Onside, Lily trained and qualified at Freshfields in the disputes department and spent time on secondment in Amsterdam.
Nathan is an associate in the commercial team.
Since joining Onside Law, Nathan has been involved in a range of contentious, commercial, employment and corporate matters.
Prior to joining he previously sat with the technology, outsourcing and commercial team at a US law firm as well as an in-house legal team for film & TV financing.
Nathan is well versed in various football governing body regulations and has advised various agents on how to prepare for the FIFA Football Agent Exam.
Nathan has also appeared before the Court of Arbitration for Sport to assist Senior Counsel with a dispute between a professional football player and a football agent.
Away from his desk, Nathan can be found re-living the Arsenal glory days and telling everyone that he is the best FIFA video game player around.
Oliver is a founding partner of Onside Law, and a Sports Law ‘veteran' having first practised in the industry 25 years ago. Having trained and qualified at Nabarros, Oliver was seconded to IMG on several occasions prior to joining the in-house legal team permanently in 1999.
Oliver is professional yet personable, he's extremely thorough, an excellent communicator and a clear strategist.
Oliver is a Commercial lawyer, and is well known for acting for Talent, particularly in golf and football. Oliver has been acting for Sir Nick Faldo for over 20 years and counts some of the biggest names in world sport as clients.
Oliver has published a number of articles, has appeared as an expert on the BBC News, and has featured in the likes of Sports Business, The New York Times, The Times and the Daily Telegraph as a sports law expert. Oliver is recommended by independent legal directories Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners as a leading sports law practitioner where he is described as "hardworking, thorough and personable", and an "excellent communicator and clear strategist" (Legal 500). Oliver "is professional yet personable, he's extremely thorough and explains everything clearly and precisely" (Chambers & Partners).
Paul is an associate primarily focusing on commercial work for clients in the sport and media sectors.
During his training contract, he completed a secondment at adidas where he worked on high-profile player, club, ambassador and sponsorship agreements. As well as advising on projects with adidas football partners and prominent ambassadors.
Paul has deep knowledge of the football industry and hosts the What The Footie Podcast, a podcast that gives insight into the business of football and has featured prominent agents, executives, deal-makers, decision-makers and staff from clubs all around the world. Paul also sits on the Management Committee of the Association of Sporting Directors, an organisation with the aim of supporting, connecting, and developing over 400 global members and sharing insight into the role.

Robin is a senior associate focusing on corporate and commercial work for clients in the sports and media sectors.
Roisín is an senior associate focussing on commercial work for clients in the sports and media sector, with a particular focus on data and technology. Before joining Onside Law, Roisín worked in the commercial team at Macfarlanes advising on complex commercial and corporate transactions. She also spent time on secondment at eBay and a fintech start-up.
Ross is particularly known for his regulatory dispute experience through acting for governing bodies, sports teams and individuals across various areas including anti-corruption, anti-doping, contractual, disciplinary, safeguarding and selection disputes. Ross regularly acts as lead advocate for his clients in their disputes.
Ross is also a qualified solicitor advocate and sits on the Sport Resolutions National Panel, the Sport Resolutions pro bono panel and the England Boxing National Disciplinary Panel.
Santi is an associate focusing on corporate and commercial work for clients across the sport and media sectors. Prior to joining Onside Law as a newly qualified solicitor, Santi trained at Allen & Overy.

Simon is a founding partner specialising in corporate and commercial work for clients in sports and media, and other entrepreneurial sectors. Simon founded Onside Law in 2005 with Jamie and Oli having spent seven years with leading City firms, Clifford Chance and Slaughter and May.
Simon Thorp has comprehensive understanding of sports sector; investment, good governance innovation, well-connected and highly supportive.
Simon is a non-executive director at Gloucester Rugby. Simon enjoys playing all forms of sport (particularly those involving a ball) reaching a high level in tennis including previously captaining the Queen's Club first team (a long time ago now!). Simon also assists his former university, Durham, on the development of their sport's programme and infrastructure.

Stevie is a partner specialising in commercial litigation and arbitration for sport sector clients. Although he covers all sports, he is particularly active in rugby, football, golf and Formula One.
