Charlotte Stilwell is a referral specialist in prosthodontics with a leading interest in partial and complete dentures, encompassing solutions to complex prosthodontic problems and meticulous management of occlusion.
Charlotte has combined general dental practice experience with post-graduate hospital based training. She lectures nationally and internationally. Charlotte graduated from the Royal Dental College in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1983 and became a UK registered specialist in prosthetic dentistry in 2000. She moved to London immediately after her graduation to pursue her interest in removable prosthetics. After five years of postgraduate training in the Department of Prosthetics at the Royal London Hospital Dental School, she practiced for nine years in general practice in West Wickham, Kent. In 1997 she moved to a multi-disciplinary referral practice in Harley Street in London. Charlotte is interested in both conventional and implant prosthetics and occlusion. She has published articles and lectured in these areas over the past 30 years. She is an examiner for implant dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and she has held part-time lecturer posts in the Department of Prosthetics at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry as well as the Department of Gerodontology and Removable Prosthetics at the University of Geneva.

Edmund is a Senior Lecturer & Consultant Oral Surgeon at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. He graduated with honours from the University of Liverpool and worked in several training and academic posts in the North West, completing his specialist training in Oral Surgery in Manchester in 2014.
He has a broad experience of clinical teaching and research in Oral Surgery. His current job involves teaching and supervision of trainee dentists at various levels alongside his clinical work as a Consultant Oral Surgeon.
Edmund has published in several renowned academic journals and is an author for the Cochrane Oral Health Group; this group produce systematic reviews that are used to inform evidence based practice. He was an author on two recent Cochrane Systematic Reviews on wisdom tooth surgery and pain control following on from wisdom tooth surgery. He has an interest in patient safety and has led on several projects to improve patient safety in dentistry at both local and national levels. He sits on the Council of the British Association of Oral Surgeons.
Edmund provides surgical treatments under local anaesthetic and sedation; sedation can be very useful for patients who are anxious about dental treatment.

Kamran is a Consultant Anaesthetist at the Barts and The London NHS Trust.
He qualified from Nottingham University Medical School in 1990. He gained excellent training in Anaesthesia in Nottingham and London and in 1997 became a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
After completing his training he spent two years in Seattle. Since 2002 he has been a Consultant Anaesthetist at Barts and The London Hospitals.
He has extensive experience of providing sedation for dental procedures.

Michael is our Prosthodontist at Specialist Dental Services. He specialises in the restoration and replacement of missing teeth, particularly in complex situations using dental implants. He is extremely passionate about the care and well-being of his patients and in 2018, became a finalist at the Aesthetic Dentistry Awards.
Michael graduated from Bart's & The London Dental School in 2013, winning several prizes and passing with a distinction in his final year. He moved to Devon after successfully completing his foundation training. Subsequently, Michael had gained surgical experience working as a Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospital Southampton, Royal South Hants Hospital & Royal Hampshire County Hospital.
Here he was exposed to the challenges of treating and rehabilitating patients with oral cancer as well as trauma. He became curious to how he could support these patients with reconstructing their teeth and improve their quality of life.
Michael therefore decided to do further postgraduate training and completed the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He then embarked on three years of specialty training in Prosthodontics at the Bart's & The London Dental School, completing his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry and successfully passed the Diploma of Membership in Prosthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Michael is currently conducting a clinical trial at Queen Mary, University of London, (QMUL) assessing the patient satisfaction to different biting patterns of dentures.
Michael lectures and runs courses for qualified dentists and hygiene therapists, and teaches undergraduate students at QMUL.
Michael is the Council Member, Newsletter Editor and Co-chair of the Early Practitioners within the British Society of Prosthodontics.
In his spare time, Michael is currently training for the London Marathon and enjoys running long distances.

Sarah is a Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry at The Royal London Dental Hospital.
She is an experienced paediatric dentist in london having solely treated children since 2004. She has undergone extensive paediatric specialist training in numerous NHS leading teaching hospitals in the UK and has a vast experience in treating complex dental problems in children. She completed her paediatric dental specialist training at the Edinburgh Dental Institute and the Royal London Dental Hospital. Having completed her specialist training she passed the Royal College of Surgeons of England Examination in 2007. She has also carried out research in paediatric dentistry and successfully completed a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Paediatric dentistry at the University of Edinburgh. Her consultant training was completed at The Royal London Dental Hospital in 2009. She currently works as a NHS Consultant for Barts NHS Health Trust.
Sarah has gained the highest Paediatric Dental qualification in the United Kingdom in the form of the Intercollegiate Speciality Fellowship examination in Paediatric Dentistry, which is awarded jointly by the English and the Scottish Royal College of Surgeons. She is registered with the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry. Sarah is also a peer reviewer for the International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry.
Her experience as a specialist and a consultant is broad and includes the management of anxious children, dental anomalies, dental trauma, and medically compromised children. She also has extensive experience of treating children under general anaesthesia and sedation.
Although, Sarah is highly trained at treating complex problems in children, she also sees children who require routine dental treatment including preventative dentistry.

He also completed a 4-year part-time research degree at Newcastle University for which he was awarded a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
