OrchidServe is part of Orchid Information Systems Limited and was established in 1997 as a technical information consultants... OrchidServe is ‘hands on'. We do resell some services, such as domain names (we are members of Nominet) and SSL certificates. We also manage our DNS, mail and web services. Services are hosted at leading commercial data centres to provide redundancy and reliability... Orchid was building online information systems, electronic manuals, computer based training and websites and it soon became obvious that some form of web hosting facility would be useful. In 1998, Orchid purchased The Internet Experience, a small local Internet Service Provider (ISP), and merged this in to Orchid's growing hardware infrastructure. With this, we acquired a number of dial-up, domain name and hosting customers.
