A. Mahmood joined Allenby Capital in 2022 as a receptionist, managing our front desk and performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Previously she worked as a property manager.

Alex commenced working in small-cap corporate finance advisory in 2007 and has advised domestic and international companies in a wide range of sectors regarding IPOs, secondary fund raisings and acquisitions. He previously worked for several years in the internal M&A and commercial strategy unit within an international telecommunications and technology company. He has a bachelor's degree from University College London and a master's degree from Manchester Business School.
Amrit joined Allenby Capital nine years ago having previously worked at Collins Stewart , Evolution Securities and Arden Partners. She has more than 20 years of experience in sales and equity capital markets with a strong track record of raising capital for both unlisted and listed companies. Amrit specialises in providing alternative sources of funding, raising equity and debt predominantly from HNWs, family offices and niche institutional investors thus providing a unique gateway to sources of capital. She has relationships with private equity and venture capital funds both in the UK and globally as well as strategic investors.
Andrew's entire career has been spent in the City; for many years a corporate finance lawyer, initially at Slaughter and May and latterly at Clyde&Co. Andrew championed the need for a regulated market for smaller companies and was a founder member of The Quoted Companies Alliance, becoming its chairman for a three year term.
Andrew has more recently been a director of Allenby Capital and is now its chairman, viewing his role to encourage the executives and staff in the development of the business and providing a sounding board for governance and management issues.
Ashur joined the Corporate Finance team at Allenby Capital in January 2024. Prior to Allenby, Ashur worked as an M&A Consultant at Unloq. He graduated from Brunel University London in 2021, with a BSc in Business Management and Accounting, where he also completed a placement year at EPIC Investment Partners within the Finance department.
Brendan has more than 15 years' experience focused predominantly on UK smaller companies. During his career as an analyst, Brendan has covered companies ranging from AIM micro cap to FTSE 250; worked on numerous IPOs and advised private companies on raising growth capital. He started his Investment research career in at Standard and Poor's (S&P) and subsequently spent over a decade at leading Small and Mid-Cap brokers including Cantor Fitzgerald, WH Ireland and Shore Capital.
Brendan joined Allenby in May 2023 as a Director in Research from Dowgate Capital where he served as a Director in Research. He has a Bachelors in Commerce with a major in Accounting and a Masters in Finance degree.
Dan joined Allenby Capital's Corporate Finance team in January 2023. Prior to this, Dan spent several years within the investment banking teams at Singer Capital Markets and Zeus Capital where he worked on a variety of IPOs, secondary fundraisings and Takeover Code governed public M&A transactions. Dan graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BSc in Industrial Economics and has since completed exams with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

David started his professional career at BZW (latterly CSFB) in 1990 and has spent the subsequent years providing corporate finance and ECM/broking advice to UK and overseas companies listed in London. He has undertaken a wide range of capital markets and M&A transactions across a range of sectors, including technology hardware and software, biotechnology, support services and gaming. David has an honours degree from St Andrews University. He joined Allenby Capital in September 2014.
David has more than 20 years' experience covering the TMT sector and smaller companies in general and has been heavily involved in IPOs, secondary raises and M&A both on AIM and the Official List. Having spent five years as a technology journalist, he joined the City in 1998 working initially for Beeson Gregory and subsequently for Altium Capital and Daniel Stewart as a TMT analyst before joining St Helens Capital as Head of Research.
David joined Allenby in April 2016 as a director in research from Northland Capital Partners where he had been Head of Research for six years. He is a graduate of the University of Cambridge with an MA in English Literature.
George joined Allenby Capital's Corporate Finance team in September 2020. Prior to this, George worked at Panmure Gordon as an Analyst within the Investment Banking division. George has also completed internships at HSBC and Access Corporate Finance. George graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2019 with a degree in Management and he has also completed qualifications with The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Guy rejoined Allenby Capital as a Director in Equity Sales in August 2023, having spent two years working at Shore Capital focused on smaller company equities. At Shore, he was involved in a variety of equity capital raises mainly across the technology, natural resources and consumer sectors - including for a number of Investment Trusts. In addition to fundraising activities, his role involved driving secondary trading commissions - working alongside Sales Trading and Market Making.
Guy originally spent six years at Allenby, working on primary and secondary transactions across multiple sectors. His investor client base spans large Institutions, Wealth Managers, Private Client Stockbrokers, Family Offices and High Net Worth Individuals. Prior to Equity Sales, Guy worked in IR and PR for six years.
Ian has covered small cap companies for over 40 years and is one of the most experienced smaller company analysts in London. He has written on hundreds of companies over this period and consequently has a good working knowledge of many sectors including support services, recruitment, general engineering, defence, automotive, aerospace, electronics, entertainment, media, housebuilding, construction, travel and healthcare.
Prior to joining Allenby in February 2012, Ian worked as an analyst in the research departments of Morgan Grenfell Securities, Citibank Scrimgeour Vickers, Credit Lyonnais, Robert W Baird, Bridgewell, Landsbanki and Merchant Securities.

James has been working at Allenby Capital since its formation in 2009 and has over 15 years' experience working in corporate finance, with a focus on smaller quoted companies, particularly on AIM. He has advised on a number of AIM admissions in a range of sectors, with a focus on technology, life sciences and real estate. He has also advised on a significant number of secondary fundraises, takeovers, mergers and acquisitions. James is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.

Jeremy has over 24 years of experience working in corporate finance and advising smaller quoted companies, particularly AIM companies. He has acted on over 40 IPOs and AIM admissions, as well as many fundraisings, takeovers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions in the small and mid cap. arena across most industry sectors.
Jeremy joined Allenby Capital in January 2012 having previously worked at Seymour Pierce for nearly 12 years and at Fairfax IS plc.

John has over 20 years experience working in corporate finance advising Main Market and AIM quoted companies. He began his career working in the listing department of the London Stock Exchange. Since then he has worked at Seymour Pierce, ZAI Corporate Finance and Zeus Capital. He has worked on over 50 IPOs across a range of sectors and locations. John has also worked on a number of high profile takeovers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions. John joined Allenby Capital in September 2015.

Joscelin joined Allenby in September 2018. Having initially started on the research desk, he moved to Sales in 2019 and has since grown a wide variety of investor contacts ranging from large scale institutions to HNWs & Private Client Brokers. Prior to working at Allenby, Joscelin worked for the Austrian Paralympic Committee in Vienna. He is also a graduate of Oxford Brookes University where he read Politics and International Relations.
Kelly joined Allenby in January 2014 as part of the sales team. Kelly has over 17 years of City experience, with the last 10 specifically focused on smaller companies and AIM placings and IPOs. Prior to joining Allenby, Kelly was responsible for numerous successful fundraisings for AIM companies whilst with First Columbus, Hybridan and Novus. Kelly previously specialised in small cap AIM companies on the buy-side with Savoy Investment Management.
Kelly joined Allenby Capital in March 2014 as receptionist and Administrator. Kelly assists the team with administrative duties and helps in the day to day running of the office. Prior to joining Allenby Capital, Kelly had a successful career as a beauty therapist, working at a number of different therapy centres across London and Surrey. Kelly made the decision to change careers as she wanted a more challenging role within a dynamic and progressive company.
Lauren joined the Corporate Finance team at Allenby Capital in September 2022. Prior to Allenby, Lauren worked as a Corporate Finance Analyst at Gerald Edelman. She graduated from the University of Exeter in 2021, with a BSc in Economics and Sociology, during which she also completed a placement at Grant Thornton within the Audit department.

Liz joined Allenby Capital in 2016 and has since acted for a diverse range of clients both on day to day matters and transactions. Transactional work has included IPOs, secondary fundraisings, corporate activity and Takeover Code advice. Liz has predominately worked with AIM quoted companies but also with companies admitted to trading on AQSE. Prior to joining Allenby Capital Liz worked at Daniel Stewart where she initially worked in corporate broking before joining the corporate finance team in 2014.
Matt graduated from Edinburgh University in 1994 with a BCOM (Hons) degree.
Post University, Matt worked for the United Nations in Rome for one year and then returned to the UK to join Goldman Sachs where he spent a total of nine years. At Goldman Sachs Matt was part of a top ranked European Chemical Companies research team.
After Goldman Sachs Matt established the Equity research function at Noble & Company, an Edinburgh and London based Investment Bank. Matt joined Allenby Capital in February 2009 to build its Equities business which he now heads but is still very much involved in the day to day writing of research and equity fund raisings. Matt sits on the Board of Allenby Capital.

After graduating from Aberdeen University in 2001 with a joint honours degree in Accountancy and Finance, Nick spent over 7 years at Noble & Company working in both its corporate finance and equity capital markets teams.
His experience includes IPOs, secondary fundraisings, mergers and acquisitions across a variety of sectors. After Noble, Nick worked on a variety of corporate finance-based consultancy/project roles including working with Londra Ventures, a London-based technology ventures boutique, assisting early stage businesses mostly in the technology and internet sectors. Nick joined Allenby Capital in June 2009.

Nick joined Allenby in October 2011 having previously worked for Religare Capital Markets and its predecessor firms from 2001 to 2011. During his career he has advised a wide variety of companies on numerous transactions, including capital raisings, IPOs, reverse takeovers, acquisitions and restructurings.
Nick began his career with Midland Bank (now HSBC) in 1987, gaining experience in banking, investment research and wealth management over a ten year period. Subsequently he worked in stockbroking and telecommunications before focusing on corporate finance in 2001.
Nick trained as a chartered accountant, qualifying in 1992. Since qualifying he has acted as a corporate broker and investment banker at Crédit Lyonnais Securities (1994 to 2000), Robert W. Baird Limited (2000 to 2004) and Noble & Company (2005 to 2008). During his career he has advised a wide variety of companies on numerous transactions, including fund raisings, acquisitions and restructurings as well as acting as finance director to an online retailer. Nick joined Allenby Capital in July 2009 and became its Chief Executive in July 2011.

Nicola joined Allenby Capital's Corporate Finance team in July 2020 having previously worked at The Northern Trust Company, where she won many internal awards for Client Services and worked her way up from an administrator level to a Team Leader role. Nicola has worked in Finance since 2006, having gained most experience within the banking sector. Her background in finance includes Private Equity, Alternative Assets and Client Services.
Peter Dupont has had over 35 years' experience in investment banking with UBS, Commerzbank, Libertas Capital and Edison Investment Research. Throughout this period he has been involved in investment research covering the engineering, metals and natural resources sectors. He pioneered the pan European coverage of the steel sector and over the past ten years has focused on junior oil and gas stocks and petroleum industry commodity price forecasting. Prior to entering investment banking Peter held managerial and financial analytical positions with Ford Motor Co and Massey Ferguson/Perkins Engines. He has a BSc Econ degree from the London School of Economics.
After graduating from the University of Exeter in 2017 with a degree in Economics, Piers joined Deloitte's Financial Services Audit & Assurance practice. He then qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW in 2020, specialising within the Banking & Capital Markets department at Deloitte. Piers also completed an internship at Goldman Sachs within the Sales & Trading department during his time at University.
Piers joined Allenby Capital's Corporate Finance team in April 2021.

Stefano joined Allenby Capital in 2021 after having spent 3 years working in Milan in Equity Sales on the Italian AIM market where he worked on several mid cap IPOs and built a network of institutional European investor contacts. Other professional experiences include an internship with JP Morgan Chase; and contract roles as a Revenue Data Specialist with Dun & Bradstreet (UK).
Stefano graduated in International Business BSc with a joint degree from the University of Birmingham (UK) and Bocconi University (ITA) in 2016 and in 2020 completed the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
Stephen is an FCA, bringing Allenby Capital thirty years experience of operating as a Finance Director and Chief Executive in a number of complex business environments. He joined the Allenby board as Non Executive Director in 2011.
Stephen drove the transition of Birmingham Airport from a public sector owned business to a highly successful commercial Public & Private Partnership, raising £150 million in equity and structured debt. More recently he led the recovery of a retail and corporate financial services business into a profitable provider in the smaller company market, ultimately overseeing its sale.
Tony joined Allenby in May 2018 as a Director in equity sales. He has over 30 years of experience in the UK stock market with positions held in research, equity sales and corporate broking. After working as an industrial strategist with the Department of Trade and Industry, Tony moved into finance and worked at Laurence Prust, Albert E Sharp, Investec, Arden Partners and latterly finnCap. Over this period Tony focussed on small cap companies and has had considerable success with numerous IPOs and secondary fundraisings on both the Official List but especially on AIM. Tony has gained considerable insights into the issues that small cap companies need to address and his wide ranging contacts within the specialist small cap investment community provides him with a large target audience for the small cap companies that he acts for. Tony is also a Non-Executive Director of Abbey Plc, a UK, Irish and Czech house builder.
Victoria graduated from the University of Salford/l'Università di Bologna in 2005 with a degree in Media, Italian and Business. She spent two years within recruitment before joining a London-based private physiotherapy firm and Bupa health centre. Within 2 years, Victoria was promoted to Practice Manager serving its two primary sites. Victoria joined Allenby Capital in September 2011 following a desire to move into the financial services sector and now acts as the firm's Operations Manager.
Vivek commenced his career at the London Stock Exchange, initially as an Associate in the Primary Markets and AIM team; advising on proposed admissions to AIM, investigating live market events and supervising nominated advisory firms and all issuers quoted on AIM. He was subsequently promoted to the Secondary Markets team at the London Stock Exchange and oversaw equity trading across the FTSE 100 to AIM as well as fixed income, derivatives, and ETF trading.
Prior to the London Stock Exchange, he completed the UK Civil Service Fast Stream internship, where he worked in the Government Office for Science and led and completed a rapid technology assessment analysing emerging environmental innovations, which was used by key stakeholders across Whitehall including The No 10 Policy Unit. Vivek holds a Bachelor of Laws from Queen Mary University of London.
