Since then, she has been advising clients on all aspects of financial planning for individuals, trusts and companies. Aimee enjoys working with clients to help realise their ambitions they may not be able to achieve otherwise, whether that is helping clients to retire early, make financial provisions for their children or just to help them achieve peace of mind about their financial security for the future.

Andrew Kirk

Andrew began his career in financial services in 2002 and has worked for a variety of banking and wealth management institutions, gaining varied experience advising a wide range of clients on all aspects of financial planning. He currently leads our team in Cornwall where he helps to ensure we are providing the best client experience, as well as encouraging the team to develop successful professional relationships. Allowing people to enjoy their lives without financial worry is a fundamental aspect of Andrew's work. He is drawn to the client experience and financial planning gives him the opportunity to work closely with his clients to understand their goals and to ultimately help them achieve them. Andrew works with his clients over the long term to ensure they make the best decisions during their financial life stages. This includes accumulating wealth through pensions and investments, ensuring their families and businesses are protected should the worst happen, and planning a comfortable retirement to consider inheritance tax planning and later life planning. He regularly advises multiple generations in the same family which helps Andrew provide a holistic service. Andrew works closely with his PKF Francis Clark accountancy colleagues and part of his role is to ensure clients who also receive our financial planning services benefit from a seamless, high quality experience. This joined-up approach helps individuals, businesses and trustees to create effective tax-efficient strategies in one place. A cause Andrew is passionate about is working with the St Petrocs Homeless Society, whose mission is to end homelessness in Cornwall. He volunteers and fundraises in any way he can - sponsored swims, charity football matches and bake sales to name a few. Away from his job and volunteering role, Andrew is a devoted family man and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He loves being out on the golf course and also enjoys following the highs and lows of Liverpool Football Club.

Carl Tremlin

With over 25 years' experience working in the financial services sector, Carl has developed a focus for acting as a financial planner for high-net-worth individuals and business owners, working through their often-complex financial situation to provide bespoke solutions. Carl sees his role as a financial planner is to ensure his client and their family are protected and able to live their best life, free of worry or concerns around their wealth or legacy. His keen interest in tax planning means he enjoys working with his clients to structure their affairs in a tax efficient manner. His drive to ensure appropriate client outcomes has led him to become a Fellow of both the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments. He has also passed the STEP Certificate for Financial Services in Trusts and Estate Planning. By developing his technical expertise, he is well placed to understand the unique needs of each client and can provide the right advice for them. Outside of work, Carl and his wife can be found walking their 4 dogs, or enjoying time with close friends.

Charlotte Taylor-St Ruth

Charlotte is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and holds the Chartered Financial Planner qualification. She started working in financial services in 1998 and after nearly 20 years in London working as a paraplanner and becoming an operations director, Charlotte decided to relocate to the South West where she joined us as head of client care. Away from her job and volunteering role, Charlotte is a member of the Teign Diving Centre and loves the challenge and tranquillity that diving brings. She also enjoys keeping fit as part of the Mid Devon Cycling Club and has completed the Dartmoor Classic.

Chris Reah - Managing Director

Chris is the Managing Director of Francis Clark Financial Planning and a partner at PKF-Francis Clark. His background is as a Chartered Wealth Manager, having started his advice career with NatWest Stockbrokers before moving to Coutts & Co. and then to Arbuthnot Latham and Co. During this time he was both investment manager and private banker to his clients. Chris grew up in the South West, but spent the early part of his career in London before returning to start the Coutts business in 2008. His last role was as the head of the Regional Offices Arbuthnot Latham and Co, where he expanded the business from an office in Exeter to offices in Exeter, Bristol and Manchester, growing the balance sheet to over £1bn. As Managing Director at FCFP, Chris leads the next stage of the team's growth, integrating the business more fully into the partnership and extending its reach into the external market. He is passionate about providing exceptional advice and caring for our clients, but equally providing the most fulfilling environment for staff where they can flourish. Beyond work, Chris lives with his family in The Blackdown Hills where his children are in the process of finishing school and attending University. He describes himself as a Bob Dylan loving sports nut, with a particular passion for rugby and cricket, having played at London Irish and following the rise of the Exeter Chiefs. Chris has been involved in helping players at Somerset CCC, including chairing Marcus Trescothick's Testimonial Year in 2019, and he also completed the London Marathon in 2022, raising money for the Children's Hospice South West, although now professes that he never wishes to run ever again.

Chris Revill

Chris is a Financial Planner who is based in our Truro office. He joined us in 2022 having spent over 15 years working in Financial Services in various roles in London and the South West. Chris enjoys the variety of working on all aspects of financial planning, whether that's inheritance and succession planning, retirement planning or working with clients on their investments. He has advised clients in all areas but has particular experience in advising clients who have businesses in the agricultural sector. Providing clients with a sense of financial security is fundamental to Chris' work. He has an interest in protecting his clients from financial issues that they may encounter, such as due to personal issues or wider economic factors. He takes a long-term view with his clients to make sure they are prepared for all eventualities but is also comfortable providing new clients with their options in unforeseen circumstances. Away from his day job Chris has 4 children who keep him very busy. He's very involved with his Children's sporting lives, sharing their hobbies including cricket and he helps to coach the local boys football team. He used to play semi-professional football and still plays for St Mawgan in Cornwall. When he does find the time, he is also working towards the Chartered Financial Planner status.

Daniel Marchant

Daniel is a Chartered Financial Planner who works out of our Poole and Southampton offices. He's worked in Financial Services since 2002 and he specialises in retirement planning, trusts and estate planning, and tax-efficient investments. He is passionate about helping his clients achieve their goals and supporting them on their lifelong financial journey. They value his knowledge, enthusiasm, and engaging approach to financial planning, whilst using relevant tools to help improve their understanding and decision making. Daniel has a degree in Economics from the University of Kent in Canterbury and is an associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). He lives in the New Forest with his young family, and he enjoys time spent cycling in the forest, managing the garden, and cooking for his friends and family.

Fiona Morrison

Fiona is a Chartered Financial Planner, a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and has worked in financial services for over 25 years. Over her career it became clear to her that she enjoys working directly with clients, so she started working as a Financial Adviser in 2016. While she can advise on all aspects of financial planning, most of Fiona's work centres around estate and later life planning for individuals and trusts. Giving peace of mind and allowing her clients to be free to enjoy their retirement is extremely important to Fiona. She takes a long-term view to ensure that even during times of market volatility, her clients are safe in the knowledge that they can live the lifestyle that they have planned. To specialise further in later life planning, Fiona is working towards accreditation with the Society for Later Life Advisers. This accreditation gives a strong understanding of vulnerable people and general later life issues which will help Fiona provide advice which is in the clients' best interests and provide greater confidence to the wider team in dealing with vulnerable persons. Fiona also works with younger clients who are planning their retirement. She likes to understand the personalities and key drivers of her clients so she can help them plan in the way that suits them, whether that involves helping them to move to a flexible pension, taking earlier retirement, or giving them a greater understanding of their overall financial position. Away from work, Fiona is a member of the local Rock Choir in Salisbury and has performed at local shows such as Armed Forces Day and the Downton Cuckoo Fair. She loves growing her own fruit and veg and on top of all of that, her dog Buddy keeps her very busy!

Ian Townsend

Ian started working in financial services in 1989, working in client service, managerial and advisory roles. Enjoying the client contact side of his work, he decided to become a Financial Planner in 2001 and has since gone onto gain Chartered status. While Ian has experience in all areas of financial planning, his focus is on retirement, investment and estate planning where he can build long term relationships with his clients. He can help clients with their inheritance tax position, and he regularly advises multiple generations of the same family. Many of Ian's clients start with complex financial positions and he particularly enjoys simplifying their position, helping them understand what they have and, ultimately, allowing them to enjoy their life without financial worry. Away from work, Ian lives in Devon with his family and regularly goes to Exeter Chiefs rugby matches. He enjoys motorsport and likes to keep fit by walking and rowing.

James Phillips

James is a Chartered Financial Planner who is also the Head of Financial Planning. He is responsible for the quality of financial planning throughout the company and helps support the team to add maximum value for their clients. He's worked in financial planning since 2007 and he specialises in cashflow planning, retirement planning, estate planning and tax-efficient investment planning. Clients enjoy his enthusiasm and approach to financial planning, using cashflow tools to develop detailed and cohesive financial plans to help them make informed decisions with their personal finances. James has a master's degree in Mathematics and Economics from Edinburgh University, and he is a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). Not one to rest on his laurels, he plans to start studying for the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates to reinforce his expertise in the areas of trust and estate planning. James lives on the South Coast with his young family. He loves spending time with the family on the beach or in the New Forest, and he's also a keen runner.

Jenny Clyburn

Jenny joined the firm in 2013 and is one of our home-grown talents within the team. Before stepping into her current role as a Financial Planner, Jenny worked within our Client Liaison, Business Support and Technical teams, gaining hands-on experience in all areas of financial planning which helps to underpin her excellent client service. Focusing her work on individuals who are in retirement, Jenny enjoys working with her clients to make sure they can enjoy their retirement and achieve their life ambitions free from financial worry. She also works closely with colleagues to provide advice on investment planning, estate planning, pension and retirement income planning, tax planning and personal protection. Having completed a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, Jenny is well on her way to achieving the highly respected Chartered Financial Planner status. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys competitive pilot gig racing with Brixham Gig Rowing Club and spends the summer months attending regattas across the Southwest. She is working towards her level 2 club coach badge and even competes in the annual World Pilot Gig Championships at the Isles of Scilly.

Kate Stephen

Kate is a Financial Planner who joined us in 2022 and is based in our Truro office. She started working in financial services in 2004 and became a Chartered Management Accountant before making the switch to financial planning in 2018. Kate's experience in management accountancy has helped to develop her strategic approach which she puts to good use in a client facing role as a Financial Planner. She advises on all aspects of financial planning and enjoys helping clients to understand and take control of their finances, working with them over the long term so they can plan their finances as much as possible. Areas Kate is particularly interested in include inheritance tax planning and helping clients understand their investments. Having worked for investment management companies, her experience is a great asset to her client portfolio as she has a deep understanding of investments and can guide her clients through the investment process from start to finish. After 6 years working in London and then 8 years in Sydney, Kate decided to relocate back to Cornwall with her family where she spends her time enjoying the beaches, keeping fit and taking her children to their various sporting activities. She hasn't lost her love for travelling though and enjoys camping in France and Spain where she can explore the local wineries.

Kevin Stoyle

Kevin joined the Francis Clark Financial Planning team as a trainee Paraplanner in June 2004 and is now a Financial Planner in our Torquay office. Before joining Francis Clark Financial Planning, Kevin worked at a stockbrokers and IFA in Exeter. Kevin obtained his Chartered Financial Planner qualification in December 2014. He can provide advice on a range of client needs including retirement planning, personal and business protection and long-term investments. Kevin particularly enjoys planning for clients retirement. With the options available to retirees increasing, along with complexity of legislation, it is essential that each client receives bespoke advice so that they can enjoy their retirement. Outside of work Kevin is married with two children and enjoys spending time with his family, playing and watching sport, reading and enjoying the fabulous beaches that South Devon has to offer.

Lyndon Massey

Lyndon started his career in banking and started focusing on financial planning in 1999. He gained experience looking after corporate and trustee pensions before moving onto personal wealth planning. Over his career he has gained chartered status and is a fellow of the CII as well as chartered fellow of the CISI, reflecting his financial planning and wealth management background. The area of financial planning that Lyndon is involved with is wealth management for high net-worth individuals and families. He does this by focusing on the purpose of a client's wealth, understanding their intentions and giving them the structured planning that they require. This allows his clients to make the most of their financial situation and enjoy their wealth more effectively. Many of Lyndon's clients are business owners who have found themselves in a fortunate position after years of hard work. Where Lyndon can really add value to families in this position is understanding and helping them transition into the next phase of their life. He holds a master's degree in gerontology which focused on the transition to financial independence and retirement, and this gives Lyndon unique insight into the challenges that business owners face during this period in their lives. Away from work Lyndon is a keen cross-country runner who enjoys living near to the coast. He is trustee for a charity providing food and support, and is married with a son and two daughters.

Matt Garnett

Matt is a Senior Chartered Financial Planner who began working in financial services in 2012, starting his career in banking. Having worked in various companies to help develop his knowledge and expertise, Matt decided to specialise in financial planning and joined us as a Financial Planner in 2019. He has since gone onto become a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. While Matt's first financial planning role saw him specialise in protection for clients, he works with clients on all aspects of financial planning whether that's retirement planning, investment planning, inheritance planning, or business protection work. Business owners can also benefit from having access to his colleagues at PKF Francis Clark, meaning they can benefit from a full suite of services in one place. Matt enjoys getting to know his clients and discovering what is important to them, before building a plan to help them achieve their goals and objectives. He prides himself on helping clients to understand the complex areas of financial planning and puts these aspects into a language which is easy for clients to understand. Outside of work Matt enjoys spending time with his young family. He is a keen golfer and while his footballing days are behind him, he is still a devoted follower of Wolverhampton Wonderers. We would be still working if it wasn't for the expert guidance given to us by financial planner Matt Garnett and the team at Francis Clark. As a result, we've been fortunate enough to have already enjoyed six years of retirement. Matt is extremely professional and has the ability to explain things in an easily understood way. He took time to get to know us as a couple and get to grips with our dreams and aspirations. We have confidence that he fully understands our goals and, as a result, has steered us through what would have a minefield without his help.

Matt Swan

Matt is driven by providing financial security to his clients. He works with his clients to plan ahead and make sure they are prepared for all eventualities, but he is also comfortable providing new clients with their options in unforeseen circumstances. Away from work Matt is married with grown up twin daughters. He spends lots of time walking his dog, Finn, often on the SW Coast path. He is also takes part in local motorsport and is a member of Devon & Cornwall 4×4 Response, being a dedicated Land Rover fan.

Michelle Willcock

Michelle started working in the financial sector in 1987 and has gone onto become a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. She takes great care in the service that she offers her clients, making sure they receive advice that will help them achieve their ambitions and aspirations. Most of her clients are individuals who make use of Michelle's vast experience in retirement, inheritance and investment planning, but she can also provide advice to companies on issues such as shareholder protection. Michelle lives in Newquay with her family and enjoys spending time with them on the coast, even braving the cold herself and swimming in the sea regularly. She is also a keen participant in Taekwondo, having earnt her black belt after years of practice. "We placed the majority of our financial arrangements into the care of Michelle at the Francis Clark Financial Planning. We are not particularly financially savvy and get little pleasure from playing around with our investments and pension arrangements, so we needed someone we could trust. We have not been let down. FC are extremely keen to make sure their customers are both protected and can take advantage of the markets, even in volatile times. Everything is explained carefully in language that even we can understand.

Nikki Mitchell

Nikki's role as Head of Operations is to ensure the business is running smoothly and our clients receive the high-quality service they come to expect. She has worked in financial services since 1986 and having held various advisory and financial planning roles, including running her own financial planning practice, Nikki has developed a unique understanding of financial planning. Because Nikki has such a deep understanding of the end-to-end journey, she is well placed assist at any point in the financial planning process and where required she is quick to step into a situation and solve the issues at hand. Nikki has a real passion for problem solving and encourages her team to develop the confidence and ability to do the same. Collaboration and inclusivity are key to Nikki's approach, guiding people to ensure the clients gets the right outcome. One of Nikki's passions is getting involved with her local community, most notably by helping to raise over £250,000 for Modbury Association for Recreation and Sport. Not stopping there, she even got involved in the build of the new Pavilion and continues to support the organisation as Secretary. Away from work and her local projects, Nikki enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, travelling to new destinations, walking in the countryside, experiencing new restaurants, and taking in the odd show at the theatre. She ticked skydiving off her bucket list a few years ago by jumping for the Hearts Together charity but has decided not to make it her next hobby!

Olya Edwards

She has a background in medical science and has transferred her willingness to help people with their health to their finances. She has diverse experience in finance, including working as a Paraplanner and as an Independent Financial Advisor, giving Olya a well-rounded view and a strong understanding of financial planning. Wanting to help clients achieve their goals is a fundamental aspect Olya's work. She enjoys understanding the unique needs of each client and then providing valuable advice which will have a positive impact on their lives. She advises clients on all aspects of financial planning and spends time growing her network so that her clients have access to legal, tax and accountancy advise when it is needed. Olya is passionate about encouraging women to be financially independent, whatever their financial position in life. When advising couples, she is keen to ensure both parties take an active interest and understand the decisions being made so that they are both prepared for whatever life throws at them. She is also passionate about helping vulnerable individuals with their financial position and does this by providing her advice in a language which is easy to understand. Olya came to the UK from Belarus in 2008 and has since made herself at home in the UK. She enjoys classical music and works with Devon Opera on their marketing activities to help introduce classical music to a younger audience. She also enjoys exercising, reading and gardening, and on top of all of that she is studying towards Chartered Financial Planner status.

Phill Johns

Having worked for both large institutions and smaller independent firms, Phill has gathered a wide range of experience for his clients to benefit from. This means he provides a holistic, ongoing service to his clients so that they can plan and achieve their financial objectives which enables them to live the lifestyle they desire without financial worry. Focusing his work on individuals and business owners, Phill's clients benefit from access to his colleagues in PKF Francis Clark who can cover their various business affairs, meaning they have access to a wide variety of services all in one place. Outside of work Phill is happiest outdoors with his wife and two boys, enjoying spending time on or in the water when the weather allows.

Richard Bambrough - Chief Compliance Officer

Richard joined us in 2014 and leads our Compliance function, overseeing regulatory compliance and reporting, adviser supervision, professional indemnity insurance and general risk management within the business. As part of our Senior Management team, Richard enjoys being at the heart of the organisation where he can work with colleagues across the firm to support the delivery of excellent client care. He ensures that there are processes in place that are in the clients' interests and, where necessary, can step in to provide independent oversight. With experience supervising over 500 Financial Advisors in his previous role, Richard is well placed to work on the overall strategy of Francis Clark Financial Planning. He has influence in all areas of the firm to ensure we are always working to deliver positive outcomes. In between his work, spending time with his family and enjoying sports, Richard is currently working towards Chartered and Fellowship status.

Rosalyn Shallcroft

Ruby Craven

Ruby has over 10 years' experience in financial services and worked in banking before joining us in 2016. She gained experience working in our client liaison, business support and technical teams before moving into her current role as a financial planner where she enjoys working collaboratively with clients. Ruby's experience with us has given her a deep knowledge of not only Francis Clark Financial Planning, but also of the work our colleagues in our accountancy and business advisory teams at PKF Francis Clark do. This compliments her role exceptionally well as Ruby is part of the team who provides financial advice to the clients of PKF Francis Clark. These clients can therefore meet with an advisor who has a wider understanding of their finances and can provide the best advice for them. Most of the work that Ruby undertakes involves setting up retirement and investment plans, as well as arranging personal protection. She works with individuals who operate in a wide variety of sectors and industries, exposing her to a range of different financial needs and requirements from clients which has helped Ruby develop into a real all-rounder. When she isn't working with clients, Ruby is working towards chartered financial planner status. She likes to keep fit by walking, going to the gym, and you can often catch her participating in the Plymouth 10k.
