Andrea latterly joined Dovetail Divorce Solutions dealing with fixed fee divorces in a collaborative manner.

Anna Betteridge

Anna joined the firm in October 2021 and brings over 21 years of experience dealing with residential property matters. Anna initially started as a Post Completion Clerk at a well-respected North Yorkshire Law firm and has worked her way up to becoming a Conveyancing Fee Earner, gaining a wealth of knowledge from her time working at various law firms across the region. Anna is currently studying Level 4 Diploma in Conveyancing Law and Practice and is working hard towards qualifying as a Licensed Conveyancer. Daniel Carr

Dan is a Director of the firm and also the Head of the Personal Injury Department having qualified as a Solicitor in 1996. He is a member of the Specialist Law Society Personal Injury Panel and is a Senior Litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. Dan has extensive experience in handling a huge variety of claims including complex and serious high value personal injury and clinical negligence claims. Donna Moore

Donna is a Licensed Conveyancer and Head of our New Build Department based at our Doncaster branch. Donna joined the firm in 2000 and has played a key role in developing and expanding the Conveyancing Department. Donna is recommended by a number of regional builders to assist their buyers, particularly with new build properties and she has maintained strong links both with old and new developers and clients alike. Jessica joined the firm in October 2018 to support our thriving Conveyancing team. Jessica graduated with a qualifying Law Degree from Nottingham Trent University in 2017 and continued her studies there on the LLM Legal Practice Course where she graduated in December 2018 with a First-Class Masters Degree. Within a year of working at Malcolm C Foy, Jessica was awarded a Training Contract and qualified as a Solicitor in our Property department in March 2021. During her period of recognised training, Jessica spent the vast majority of her time within our Residential and Commercial Property departments. She worked closely with and assisted highly experienced property solicitors as well as managed her own caseload as she progressed. Jessica completed her final seat of training in our Litigation department. Now qualified, Jessica practices within our Property department and undertakes property work from individual and business clients, including but not limited to: Freehold and Leasehold Sales and Purchases Re-mortgaging and re-financing Transfers of Equity Removal of 2 nd Charge Adverse Possession claims Deeds of Covenant and Overage Assents Jessica is keen to establish new business associates as a newly qualified solicitor as well as build on her local client base. Nick was educated at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Wakefield before completing a LLB (Hons) Law Degree at Leeds Metropolitan University and the Legal Practice Course at Leeds Law School. Shabana Ali joined our team in 2023 as a Director of the firm and Joint Head of the Personal Injury Department. Shabana qualified as a Solicitor in 2005 and is a member of the Association of Personal Injury lawyers. Shabana has over 20 years of experience representing injured parties and dealing with personal injury claims. Her speciality lies in dealing with complex road traffic accidents, workplace injuries, and industrial disease cases. She has been involved in negotiating complex settlements and engaging in ADR and mediation through her work. Shabana started her career in Personal Injury in 2000, and brings to our team a wealth of experience and fresh perspective in the Personal Injury Department and Firm. Shabana's number one focus is on client care and looking after her clients to bring their cases to a successful conclusion. Her prime focus is to help her client's and to support and guide them through the personal injury process. Shabana's focus is to treat her clients with the respect and dignity that they deserve and to help them navigate through the claim process with ease and continuing advice and support. She has dealt with vulnerable clients in the past and understands the sensitivity and empathy that is needed when you have suffered a life changing injury. Shabana loves to travel, read historical fiction books and develop herself personally.
