Born in Redruth, Mike spent almost 50 years working in local government first of all in Cornwall, but then with long spells in both Central London and Cambridgeshire.
Starting his career in Precious Metal Engineering in London Nick moved to Cornwall in 1976. There he started his entrepreneurial career experience in retail and wholesale.

Peter is the managing director of Drillserve, an international mining equipment company. He has been a governor at Redruth school since 1998. He also a trustee of Camborne school of mines, Heartlands charitable trust and King Edwards mine charitable trust.
Rob is an experienced CEO with extensive board room experience as both a CEO and trustee. Rob's first Headteacher role started in 2000.
Robin taught at primary schools in Camborne and Penzance before two deputy head roles near Bristol. Robin returned to Cornwall in 1996 to take up the headship of Penryn Junior School and progressed the school to ‘outstanding' in 2011.
Following a successful first career as a commissioned officer in the Royal Navy Tom retrained as a solicitor specialising in education law.
Deborah was born in Lancashire but grew up in Malawi in Central Africa. She moved back to the UK when she was 19 where she trained in Hotel & Catering Management.
Karen has an extensive background is in Education. In her early career she taught across a range of schools working in different management and leadership roles.
Karen was born and brought up in Cornwall and has worked in senior board positions for over 20 years in both Finance and Operations within international financial services. On her return to Cornwall, she has taken on roles within a number of local charities.

Phil started teaching in Plymouth in 1990 after graduating from Exeter University. He moved to Bristol in 1992 where he was a deputy Headteacher, until returning to Cornwall in December 2001.
Simon started his teaching career in Liverpool in 1994, moving to Cornwall in 2002 where he taught in Trevithick School, Camborne.
Stacey started working at the Halifax building society in 2006 as a customer advisor then later as a banking advisor. She joined Rosemellin school in 2014.
Steve began his education at Weeth School and then moved to the newly built Rosemellin school becoming Head boy in 1978.
