Brad qualified from the University of Central Lancashire in 2021, completing his NHS Dental Foundation Training year at {my}dentist Bradford Road in Shipley. He stayed on at the practice and worked as a mixed NHS and Private Associate from September 2022 - March 2024.
Brad wants to develop an interest in both minor oral surgery and high-quality restorative dentistry and regularly attends courses to boost his knowledge and skills. He has completed part 1 of his MFDS training recently and aims to complete part 2 within the next year, whilst also undertaking his Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry at the FreshDental Institute, run by Dr. Monik Vasant.
Out of the surgery Brad enjoys a range of sports including squash, CrossFit & skydiving and he is a keen poker player who regularly plays the UK & Ireland Poker Tour Events. One of his bucket list items is to one day play in the World Series Of Poker in Las Vegas.
Brad will be able to provide all routine aspects of general dentistry, whilst also offering aesthetic dental treatment such as clear aligners / braces, and after completion of his PGDip, composite bonding & smile makeovers.

With over 30 years of experience in general practice, Jo continues to take great pride in providing quality, ethical dentistry whilst adopting a friendly and caring manner.
Having graduated from Leeds Dental Institute in 1992, Jo soon moved to London to begin his career in Dentistry. However, after 10 years of city living, he decided to move back to his hometown of Ilkley, where he has been working in the local area ever since.
He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics, whilst providing general dentistry to the whole family.
Jo very much enjoys the great outdoors and what the local surroundings have to offer. A true nature lover with a passion for music and travel.
Katharine Crowther our Practice Manager joined Ilkley Dental Care in 2018 following the purchase of the Belle Vue Dental Practice, where she had been Practice Manager for over 25 years.
Katharine is responsible for the smooth running of the practices, ensuring that we continue to offer the highest standard of care to our patients.
