Brian Mielcarek

Brian Mielcarek, MD is a partner at Valley Anesthesiology Consultants - one of the largest physician groups in the southwest. His primary practice location is Scottsdale Health North. He graduated from Saint Louis University Medical School. He completed his residency at Stanford University, and holds a certificate from the American Board of Anesthesiology.

Chris Ulrich

Chris Ulrich is the President and CEO of RSI Enterprises, Inc. He has over twenty years of experience in the financial, receivables and healthcare industries. As President and CEO, he oversees the entire operation, including Information Technology, Sales and Operations. He directs all business operations and related services, including internal and external customer relationships, financial performance analysis, business development efforts, special-project management and advancing technology to improve efficiencies for all stakeholders. He is actively involved in various associations and organizations, including but not limited to, the Arizona and Virginia HFMA, AAHAM and ACA International.

David Covert

David Covert has over 25 years of hospital management experience, most recently as the Chief Operation Officer of IASIS Healthcare's Western Division. Prior to IASIS, Dave served as the Chief Executive Officer for all Banner Health Systems' Surgery Centers. He served as Senior Vice President, Operations, for MedCath Corporation, a healthcare provider focused on high acuity healthcare services, predominately the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Catholic Healthcare West's East Valley Service Area. In this position, Dave was responsible for Chandler Regional Hospital, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, Ahwatukee Foothills Health Center, Gilbert Health Center, Sun Lakes Health Center and Queen Creek Urgent Care Center. He also oversaw the development and opening of Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, a 206-bed general acute care hospital that opened in June 2006. In March 2009, Dave was awarded the Arizona Health Care Leadership Award for Hospital CEOs by Arizona Business Magazine.

David Lamparter - Managing Director

David Lamparter is the former Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for John C. Lincoln Health Network. David was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the network's finances. He started his career in the health care industry as an accountant more than 28 years ago. David joined the John C. Lincoln organization in and was promoted to chief financial officer in 1999. His leadership has strengthened the network's financial position and enabled the organization to secure bond tax-exempt funding to finance major expansion projects. David also served as the Chief Integration Officer for the merger between JCL and Scottsdale Healthcare, which is now known as HonorHealth.

John Ragan is a founding member of the The Engaging Company, a public affairs and business development consulting firm whose members focus on advising businesses specifically in the healthcare industry. Engaging Company's clients include, but are not limited to, Banner Health Network and Dignity Health - two of the largest healthcare systems in the west coast. John spent several years working on Capitol Hill where he served U.S. Congressman Matt Salmon as his Chief of Staff in Washington, D.C. He also served U.S. Senator Jon Kyl as a member of his policy staff, where he managed budget, technology, and healthcare policy projects. In prior years, John held Business Development positions for companies owned by a private equity group whose Chairman was the late John Walton. He also held finance and operations positions in health systems that today are known as HonorHealth and Banner. Jack Ragan is a principal of Ragan and Ragan, LLC, a private revenue cycle consulting firm, operating since 1996. Jack has over 30 years of diversified healthcare and revenue cycle management experience. Prior to developing his consulting practice, Jack spent over 15 years with Samaritan Health System, a large multi-hospital system in Phoenix, Arizona, in its internal consulting group and revenue cycle management operations. He was the Vice President of Management Service for the Indiana Hospital Association, where he directed shared service programs in management engineering, revenue cycle operations and strategic planning. Jack has also served as interim vice-resident for revenue cycle at independent hospitals and health care systems throughout the United States, providing leadership and direction to organizations resulting in increased cash collections, reduced claims denial, accelerated cash flow and in implemented operational data an account flow processes.

Larry Lewis

Larry Lewis is CEO of Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District, an acute care hospital in Brawley, CA, which serves the Imperial Valley area. Prior to this, he spent 13 years at Kingman Regional Medical Center, located in Kingman, AZ, where he served in various executive management positions, including CFO, COO, and ultimately CEO.

Scott Whyte

Scott Whyte is a veteran health care IT leader with over 25 years experience serving the nation's largest providers and payers. Scott served as Vice President, IT Connectivity at Dignity Health - the nation's fifth-largest hospital system. His role included leading Dignity Health's investment in physician EMRs, Clinical Integration/Accountable Care Organizations, ARRA, Health Care Reform, Patient Connectivity, Imaging, Telemedicine and Health Information Exchanges (HIEs). Scott's team created one of the largest private HIE networks in the country with over 6,000 physicians and 34 hospitals participating. As Vice President, Clinical Systems for Catholic Healthcare West (now Dignity Health), Scott developed a comprehensive clinical systems strategy, gained board approval and oversaw $500+ million clinical systems budget for over 40 hospitals. Scott also developed the organization's first physician IT integration plans and initiated physician IT implementations and operations.
