Before joining the Group and launching Africa Business+ in 2016, Gaelle worked as editor at Paris-based specialist Africa business newswire group Indigo Publications (AfricaIntelligence). With a BA Hons in International Relations from the University of Kent, and a postgraduate degree from the Sorbonne (Paris XIII) in partnership with the Insitute for International and Strategic Relations (IRIS, Paris), she also holds a diploma from the Institut Pratique de Journalisme (IPJ, Paris)

Before joining Africa Business+, Louise was the deputy editor-in-chief of the investigative media Africa Intelligence, within the Indigo Publications group. She was also associate director in the business intelligence department of Control Risks, covered the oil and gas sector in Egypt from Cairo, and worked in embassies in Mali and Eritrea. A graduate of Sciences Po Paris, she studied for a year at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
