I started in the industry working for various insurance companies before qualifying as a Financial Adviser over 20 years ago. In total, I have over 35 years' experience of working in the financial services under my belt.
I have been working in the financial services industry for over 20 years, in an administrative role initially and more recently as a paraplanner.
I worked for 8 years at RBR Financial Services Ltd in an administrative role and then worked for 12 years as a Paraplanner at Hudson Foster Financial Services Ltd.
I am in the process of studying for the Diploma in Financial Planning and have accumulated 90 credits so far. At the moment I am studying for the RO2 exam (Investment Principles and Risk) and plan to take this exam at the end of March next year.
I have worked in Financial Services for the past 35 years. Previous roles have been in Sales Management & Training / Compliance with companies like London & Manchester Assurance & Legal & General.
I have worked as an IFA with Airevalley IFA since January 2009.
I have an interest in most sports & keeping fit.
I started working for Airevalley IFA Ltd just over two years' ago as an administrator.
On leaving school I worked in the travel industry for approximately 10 years before having a career break to raise our daughter. I have since had jobs in various administrative posts, including in an accountants', 13 years as a secretary for a solicitor, also based in Silsden and GP surgery receptionist.
I joined Airevalley IFA Ltd in July 2023 as an administrator.
I have been working at Airevalley IFA Ltd for almost 3 years and I carry out the mortgage research and administration. My interest in Mortgages began when working for Skipton Building Society and I worked with them for 2 years, assisting brokers with criteria and updates as well as carrying out applications for clients. I also worked for an IFA in Skipton for a year which involved working in Mortgages, Pensions and Investments. I assist clients with their house purchases and remortgages by sourcing mortgage products and submitting applications.
I have a keen interest in business and have a degree in Business and Management Studies.
I like to spend time with my daughter and husband, visiting family in Scotland and meeting with friends.
I have 38 years industry experience, starting work with a national company ‘The Refuge Assurance' back in 1981.
