Abhijeeth leads the Finance and Administration function at Amicus Capital. Prior to joining Amicus Capital, Abhijeeth was the CFO of Zivame.com for three years where he led the Series C round of fund raise and helped streamline the financial and accounting function. Before Zivame.com, Abhijeeth worked for ISG Novasoft Technologies for three years as a Global Financial Controller. He also worked for Fossil India for four years handling the finance, HR and IT functions; Ocwen Financial for four plus years; and in the audit team at RSM (member firm of PwC) for over a year.
Abhijeeth is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and has completed The Executive Programme in Applied Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Madurai Kamraj University.
Prior to joining Amicus Capital, Adhiraj was part of the investment team at Motilal Oswal Private Equity where he was part of the life sciences team with responsibility spanning deal evaluation, financial analysis and portfolio management. He previously interned with JP Morgan India Private Limited and Let's Venture Technologies.
Adhiraj is a post-graduate in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics & Economics from McGill University, Canada.
Aditya was with Amicus Capital as a summer analyst from July 2018 to August 2018. While at the firm, Aditya worked in a supportive capacity on deal evaluation and portfolio monitoring for a range of companies, with a focus on retail, e-commerce and insurance. Aditya has since been a summer analyst on the strategy & corporate development team at Omnicom Group's New York office. While at Omnicom he was actively involved in M&A transactions in the technology, media and telecommunications industry. Aditya will spend the summer of 2020 as an investment banking summer analyst at RBC Capital Markets in New York.
Aditya is an undergraduate student pursuing a BBA in Finance, and a BS in Economics at the Goizueta Business School of Emory University in Atlanta, GA, USA.
Aditya was with Amicus Capital as a summer analyst from July 2016 to August 2016, whilst studying for his Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at University College London. During his internship, he supported the team through comprehensive industry reports and company bench-marking in order to identify and compare potential acquisition targets. He currently works at Deloitte in its London office in the Transaction Services (Financial Due Diligence) department, with experience in a number of M&A transactions primarily in the Infrastructure and Healthcare & Life Sciences sectors.
Aditya is currently an exam qualified chartered accountant (ACA) and is working towards full qualification.
Ajith has been with Amicus Capital since inception. Prior to joining Amicus Capital, Ajith worked at Peepul Capital for eight years where he was involved in multiple control investments & buy-out deals in the consumer, healthcare and logistics sectors. Prior to Peepul Capital, Ajith worked as an equity research analyst with Clear Capital for two years. Ajith also worked with PepsiCo for four years in Sales and Distribution, and two years with Federal Bank.
Ajith is a post-graduate in management from the Indian Institute of Management,
Ahmedabad and has cleared all three levels of the CFA Program. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from the Kerala Agricultural University.
Prior to joining Amicus Capital, Alisha worked at Creador where she was part of the investment team focusing on IT and consumer sectors with responsibility spanning deal evaluation & execution, business & financial analysis, transaction structuring and portfolio management. Prior to Creador, Alisha was with Relativity Resilience Growth Fund ("Relativity") as an Investment associate where she was involved in investments in sustainable thematic with a focus on positive environmental/social impact.
Prior to Relativity, she worked for Nomura Services India Pvt Ltd as an Investment banking analyst covering Australia region focusing on Consumer and Technology sectors.
Alisha is a post-graduate in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore and is a B.Tech from IK Gujaral Punjab technical University, Jallandhar. She has She has also passed 2 levels of the CFA Program examinations.

Raju handles finance and accounting, statutory compliance and taxation at Amicus Capital.
Prior to joining Amicus Capital, Raju worked for Pierian Services for three years where he handled finance and accounting, statutory compliance, financial statement preparation, and management reports for multiple clients. Prior to Pierian, he worked in the finance team at Data Tracks Services for two years, and in the internal audit function at Profaids Consulting Services for two years.
Raju is a Cost and Management Accountant (ACMA) from The Institute of Cost Accountants of India and holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Berhampur University, Odisha.
Anoushka was with Amicus Capital as a summer analyst from May 2021 to June 2021. While at the firm, Anoushka worked in a supportive capacity on preparing comprehensive research reports on the packaging industry to identify and compare possible investment opportunities. Anoushka is preparing for her Law School Admission Test and will be applying to law Schools in the summer of 2022 to fulfil her ambition of becoming a corporate lawyer.
Anoushka has completed her minor in French and is pursuing her Economics major, with a focus on Economic History and Development at Reed College, Portland, Oregon, USA.
Arundhati was with Amicus Capital as a summer analyst from June 2017 to July 2017 and from June 2018 to July 2018. While at the firm, Arundhati worked in a supportive capacity on deal evaluation and portfolio monitoring for a range of companies, with a focus on e-commerce and insurance. Arundhati currently is an Investment Professional at Exfinity Ventures.
Arundhati completed her Bachelors degree in Economics from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

Avishek has been with Amicus Capital since inception. Prior to joining Amicus Capital, he was a member of the India business development team of Astro Malaysia for one year where he managed the investment portfolio across media & entertainment and e‑commerce sectors.
Before joining Astro, Avishek worked for Faering Capital where he was involved in deals across the consumer & retail, business services and healthcare sectors. Prior to this, he was with EY for four years in their investment banking team. Avishek also served in the finance team of ONGC Ltd.
Avishek is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) (All India Rank 30) and a post‑graduate in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Dr Azad Moopen is a physician turned entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is the Founder and Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare which is the largest healthcare chain in the GCC countries and one of the largest hospital chains in India.
Dr Moopen started his career as a medical lecturer at the Kozhikode Government Medical College before moving to Dubai and establishing the healthcare chain under the brands of Aster, Medcare and Access. He is the founder of DM WIMS ‑ a Medical College of international standards and MIMS Academy Trust that provides opportunities to students through courses ranging from Diploma to Masters. Dr Azad Moopen is also the Chairman of Credence School, Dubai, Vice Chairman of three schools in Saudi Arabia and SAFI (Social Advancement Foundation of India), Executive Trustee of the Horizon International School ‑ Calicut and founder of MA Moopen Memorial School for Special Needs, which is for the differently abled.
Dr Moopen was conferred with Padma Shri in the year 2011 for his distinguished services to the society. He is also the recipient of Pravasi Bharatiya Samman from the Government of India, Best Doctor Award instituted by the Government of Kerala, Arab Health Award and the prestigious Arabian Business Achievement Award for his outstanding contributions to the healthcare industry in the Middle East.
Dr Moopen is a gold medallist in medicine (MBBS) and a postgraduate in general medicine from the University of Calicut, Kerala and a diploma holder in tuberculosis and chest diseases from the Delhi University.
Prior to joining Amicus Capital in 2020, Ishita worked at J.P. Morgan for over three years with the Financial Institutions Group as an investment banking analyst. During this tenure, Ishita was involved in Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital market transactions for companies across Banking, Insurance and other financial services.
Ishita holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh and has cleared the CFA Level II examination.
Louise has over 20 years of work experience in administration support and executive assistant roles. Prior to joining Amicus Capital, Louise worked across industries including manufacturing, travel and software where she handled travel and administration related assignments.
Louise handles multiple administrative areas ranging from travel, accommodation, vendor management and contract administration at Amicus Capital. She also manages arrangements for annual events, conferences, seminars and other activities of the firm.
Louise holds a diploma in Teacher Training and a diploma in Travel Management from IATA.
Prior to co-founding Amicus Capital, Mahesh was a Managing Director in the Asia Growth Capital team of The Carlyle Group based in Mumbai. During his ten plus years at Carlyle, Mahesh led investments across sectors such as technology, financial services and consumer.
Before joining Carlyle, Mahesh worked for EY in their Corporate Finance Team for four years where he was closely involved in M&A engagements in the technology sector. Mahesh also worked for Arthur Andersen in their Tax and Business Advisory Group for four years.
Mahesh received his Bachelors' Degree in Commerce from Bangalore University and is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Cost Accountant (Grad CWA).

Meghna is responsible for the ESG initiatives at Amicus Capital and its portfolio companies. She will assist the firm and the portfolio companies achieve their ESG goals.
Prior to joining Amicus Capital in 2022, Meghna worked at ERM India for over seven years where she was responsible for ESG and sustainability advisory, environmental due diligence, contaminated site management, health & safety audits. Prior to ERM, Meghna was an Associate at ENVIRON International Corporation, USA for 2 years, handling environmental site assessment, regulatory compliance and environmental management. She also worked as a research assistant at Indian Council of Medical Research and interned at Deccan Chronicle.
Meghna is a Master of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology.

Mr Hemal Patel is a successful serial entrepreneur and a technology executive with significant experience in building technology businesses from scratch and running internet service providers in the United States, Puerto Rico and India. His last assignment was Senior Vice President at Sophos, a LSE listed IT Security company.
Mr Patel has managed four successful technology start‑ups and built global brands like Cyberoam and Elitecore Technologies. Cyberoam, which is now a part of Sophos, is his best known venture with 65,000+ customers, 600+ member strong team and 9,000+ resellers in 150+ countries across the globe. The company was previously funded by The Carlyle Group and sold to Sophos in 2014 and was a global top 10 unified threat management solutions company at the time of exit. Elitecore Technologies, a convergent billing solution was one of India's top telecom software product companies and was sold to Sterlite in September 2015.
Mr Patel's first venture was Eclipse Micro Computer, a technology consulting company which managed large IT infrastructure projects for US firms like Chase Manhattan Bank, JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch, AT&T, etc. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics and Telecommunication) from India, a Master's degree in Computer Science from United States, and a degree in Advanced Project Management from Stanford University.

Mr Peter Keenoy has over 30 years of credit, valuation and private equity expertise. Currently, Mr Keenoy is a Principal of the Investment Committee of Kilimanjaro Advisors LLC, a Co‑Manager of Impala Partners LLC, a US based financial advisory firm and a member of the Board of Directors of True North, a leading private equity firm in India.
Prior to setting up Impala Partners, Mr Keenoy was a Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of GE Capital's corporate lending business. During his tenure at GE Capital, he managed a portfolio of over $11 billion USD and led GE Capital's diligence efforts during various acquisitions. He was also the head of the LBO Workout Group of GE Capital, which was responsible for restructuring over 35 companies and the liquidation of Kidder, Peabody & Company's $750 million high‑yield portfolio. Before his 14 years at GE Capital, Mr Keenoy spent four years at Arthur Andersen in its auditing division.
Mr Keenoy graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science degree and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago.
Prior to joining Amicus Capital, Mrigank was part of the investment team at Avaana Capital where he helped manage deal evaluation, negotiation and portfolio monitoring. Prior to Avaana Capital, Mrigank was with Dvara Trust Group (previously IFMR Trust Group) for seven years where he raised and deployed capital, monitored portfolio companies, and worked on corporate strategy.
Mrigank holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (B.A.LL.B.) (Hons) from University of Calcutta, and a post‑graduate in Management (MBA) from Said Business School, University of Oxford.

Ms Apurva Purohit is the Co-founder of Aazol, an FMCG company which operates in the consumer food space and connects agri-producers and micro-entrepreneurs making home-grown foods with urban consumers in domestic and international markets, using technology. She previously served as the President of the Jagran Group, one of India's largest media conglomerates, where she led multiple companies of the group across print, radio, digital and outdoor in the group.
Ms Purohit was the CEO of Radio City FM radio network for about 10 years before the network was acquired by the Jagran Group. Under her leadership, Radio City has been consecutively featured in the Great Place To Work survey for 7 years. Prior to Radio City, she worked with Bennett Coleman & Company Limited and Zee Telefilms where she fashioned the re-launch strategy for its flagship channel Zee TV. She also launched India's first lifestyle channel Zoom among other successful TV brands. Ms. Purohit launched the first‑ever independent media buying agency in India, Lodestar in 1995.
Ms Purohit is an Independent Director on the board of directors of Mindtree Limited, and also serves on the board of Midday Infomedia limited and Music Broadcast Limited. She is an advisor to BD Foundation, a not for profit diversity foundation.
Over the years, Ms Purohit has won multiple business awards and has been named as one of the ‘Most Powerful Women in Business' as per the India Today Group (2016 & 2018) and Fortune India. She has authored the national best-selling book - "Lady, You're not a Man - the Adventures of a Woman at Work".

Naman was with Amicus Capital from July 2019 to August 2020. While at Amicus Capital, Naman helped manage deal evaluation, negotiation and portfolio monitoring for a range of companies, with a focus on retail and consumer goods. Naman started his career in the investment banking division of o3 Capital as a part of the special situation/tactical opportunity team where he worked with companies across consumer, industrial and financial services sectors in restructuring and capital raise assignments.
Naman is a qualified Chartered Accountant (All India Rank 6) and has cleared the CFA Level II examination. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from VNSGU, Gujarat.
Rahul was with Amicus Capital from May 2017 to April 2020. While at Amicus Capital, Rahul helped manage deal evaluation, negotiation and portfolio monitoring for a range of companies, with a focus on financial services. Rahul started his career at Deutsche Bank's Investment Banking Division working across their India and London offices for three years. As part of the Financial Institutions Group at Deutsche Bank, Rahul actively worked on M&A transactions involving some of the largest banks and exchanges in the world.
Rahul is an MBA from Indian School of Business and holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University and has cleared all three levels of the CFA Program. He is a rank holder in CA-CPT (All India Rank 5) and CA-IPCC (All India Rank 8) examinations.
Rahul is currently an Associate at Matrix Partners India.
Suman was with Amicus Capital from June 2017 to April 2019. While at Amicus Capital, Suman helped manage deal evaluation, negotiation and portfolio monitoring for a range of companies, with a focus on retail and consumer packaged goods. Suman started his career at the management consulting firm Kearney, where he helped advise several Fortune 500 clients in the consumer sector on supply chain challenges on the C-suite agenda. An engineer by training, Suman graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
Suman is an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Illinois USA and currently is an Associate at McKinsey & Company, USA.
Prior to co-founding Amicus Capital, Sunil was a co‑founding General Partner at TrueNorth (formerly India Value Fund). During his fourteen plus years at TrueNorth, Sunil was part of the team which raised and invested $1.2 bn over four funds.
Before TrueNorth, Sunil was part of the investment team at ICICI Venture Funds for seven years where he made investments across diverse sectors and managed the Structured Products Fund. Sunil also worked as an engineer at Larsen & Toubro Limited where he was part of the team which executed large petrochemical and power projects.
Sunil is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kerala and a post‑graduate in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Vidisha was with Amicus Capital from January 2021 to February 2022. Vidisha was responsible for the ESG initiatives at Amicus Capital and its portfolio companies.
Prior to Amicus Capital, Vidisha worked at ERM India for over eight years where she managed cross-functional teams on multi-million dollar projects in areas of EHS audits, sustainability reporting, data management, due diligence, environmental investigation and remediation, project management and stakeholder engagement. She has expertise as a sustainability advisor to leading multinational organisations and the World Bank. Previously, Vidisha worked in Canada for Kiewitt Group, a large EPC company, as an Environmental Co-ordinator where she oversaw environmental regulatory compliance in projects.
