Brinton Wilkins

Before joining Arcus Law in 2020, Brinton was a shareholder at Salt Lake City's largest law firm, Kirton McConkie. At Kirton McConkie, Brinton had a broad practice representing clients across the western United States. In addition to appearing in federal and state courts in Arizona and Utah, Brinton served as general counsel for a national residential mortgage lender, negotiated contracts for businesses ranging from ranchers to government contractors, and assisted in the acquisition of a regional hospital. Brinton graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2005. During law school, Brinton was a Lead Editor of the BYU Law Review and served as an intern at the European Union Parliament in Brussels, Belgium, where he provided analysis of proposed amendments to the EU's foundational documents. At Arcus, Brinton focuses his practice on technology contracting, including license and service agreements, and privacy laws and standards affecting online advertising. His focus in all matters is to help clients achieve the best possible outcomes as economically as possible. In his spare time, Brinton is adjunct faculty at BYU's Department of Communications, where he teaches communications law and ethics. Jeff Harrison

Jeff concentrates his practice on technology, commercial transactions, intellectual property and data privacy. He represents and advises clients regarding IT outsourcing transactions, and is experienced in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts (including ITO, BPO, SaaS, cloud, and other technology agreements). He also helps clients acquire, protect and license intellectual property assets, and he provides counsel on privacy issues, including GDPR-compliance. more...

Michael L. Reed

Michael L. Reed's practice involves a wide range of corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, venture capital investments, securities law compliance, corporate governance, advice to boards on their fiduciary duties and other general business and contract matters. He has represented public and private companies, investment banks, REITs, technology and consumer product companies, start-ups, special and independent committees of boards and individuals. Mr. Reed is a former partner of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. He joined the firm in 1994 and was a member of the firm's Corporate Transactions Department for over 21 years. Mr. Reed received his law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1994. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1988. He is a member of the State Bar of California.
