ART GALLERY OF HAMILTON

Founded in 1914, the Art Gallery of Hamilton is the oldest and largest art museum in Southern Ontario with a permanent collection that is recognized as one of the finest in Canada... The AGH is situated on the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Traditional Territory of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, and Hodinöhsö:ni'. This land is covered by the Between the Lakes Treaty (No. 3), negotiated between the Crown and the Mississaugas of the Credit in 1784, and ratified in 1792.
