Magen is known as the Self Storage CPA. She currently owns a number of facilities in the Southern United States. Magen has been in the storage industry for over a decade, filling every role from manager, CPA, operator and owner. She co-founded Safe Space Development in 2016 which specializes in conversions and ground up storage development projects. Magen is an established voice in the self storage industry and regularly speaks, writes, and blogs for industry trade shows, publications, and websites.

Rick is a former owner/operator of 6 "Class A" facilities. During this time he also initiated and managed the companies third party management operation.​ Most recently Rick served as Vice President of Management and Development at Easy Storage Solutions, where he began their consulting and third party management division. He is a frequently sought out keynote speaker, author, panel expert, and trusted source for his perspective on self-storage investment opportunities and operations.
