AUSTIN OLIVE COMPANY

We are Austin Olive Company, a family-owned olive oil operation out of Sunset Ranch. As a recognized Heritage Ranch, we have called the Hill Country home since 1911. Like most Texas ranches, we focused on Cattle operations for many years. Nearly 100 years after Sunset Ranch was purchased, in 2009, we planted our first olive trees and then celebrated our first harvest in 2018. In 2020, we saw our best harvest yet and took our olives to our friends at Hill Country Olive Company to be milled. We couldn't have done any of it without our friends and family who helped us nurture our trees and harvest... In the Spring of 2021, a horrible freeze hit Texas and many Olive Ranchers lost their trees. It was a sad day for everyone. Very few of our trees survived, but we are in recovery.
