BASE is a nonprofit community organization that provides events, community information-sharing, connection, support, and resources that work towards the well-being and advancement of Black residents living in Southern Oregon... BASE is committed to supporting the advancement and excellence of Black people in Southern Oregon. By fostering an inclusive environment, our goal is to promote a visible and vibrant Black community where each person feels connected and empowered to thrive... Diversity and Inclusion are extremely important within building a community. BASE is one of Oregon's many unique groups encouraging this state to be a culturally diverse environment where all ethnicities can feel they have a place and opportunity to thrive.
