Alec is a Research Analyst at Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital Ltd. As a member of the asset allocation team, Alec works closely with the Chief Investment Officer. He provides research and analysis on the firm's tactical and strategic asset allocations, as well as contributing to the long-term investment forecasts used in the company's proprietary asset forecasting process. As part of the Co-op program at Dalhousie University, Alec has gained financial services industry experience in roles at Royal Bank of Canada, The Citco Group of Companies and Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital.Alec graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Commerce, Major in Finance. Angela's emphasis on listening, understanding and implementing successful financial strategies for clients prompted a number of community organizations to call on Angela to provide her views and insights, something she enjoys thoroughly. Dan joined CC&L Private Capital in 2008 and has over 20 years of experience in the investment management industry. Within the role, Dan would oversee portfolio strategies of high net worth, institutional, foundation, and non-profit clients. He has knowledge and experience across the firm's asset class strategies, from the capital markets to alternatives, including real estate, infrastructure, private loans, and market neutral hedge strategies. He also led the firm's socially responsible initiatives both internally and externally, and was appointed Principal of the firm in this previous role. Dan received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
