Cathy Paugh - CFO

Cathy Paugh is an accomplished CFO with deep insurance industry experience gained over a dynamic 35-year career. She is a sought-after advisor to boards and executives in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, capital markets, strategic planning, deal execution and regulatory compliance. Cathy is a risk management expert and a qualified audit committee financial expert, ready to make an immediate impact on a public or private company board. Cathy is a natural problem-solver and leader who thrives in challenging environments. Her track record of steady and reliable achievements throughout her career with Prudential resulted in her selection for high-visibility roles of increasing responsibility. In her final role as Prudential's Head of Global Reinsurance Strategy, Cathy transformed the reinsurance function from a transactional to a strategic partner engagement model, centralizing enterprise-wide activities around the world for the first time. As CFO of the $10B revenue Group Insurance Business, she led a team responsible for controllership and capital management, as well as financial reporting, planning and analysis. Cathy has been a crucial dealmaker for Prudential businesses, identifying and executing multiple strategic transactions with third parties resulting in $6B+ in capital efficiencies over the course of her career. In all of her roles, she was instrumental in enhancing data-driven decision-making models. Cathy played a crucial role in enhancing regulatory and risk management capabilities related to Prudential's post-2008 financial crisis response. She provided strategic and operational oversight of the company's capital and liquidity teams, implementing stress testing capabilities and contributing to model validation programs. As a key liaison with both Federal and State regulators, Cathy helped Prudential successfully navigate the most disruptive era of financial reform in modern history and build lasting, strategic relationships between the Company and its external stakeholders. She was instrumental in creating the centralized function that manages enterprise-wide regulatory risk. Cathy worked closely with Prudential's board, particularly the finance committee, and led new director onboarding for certain risk and regulatory matters. She has been both a board member and strategic advisor to the Center for Evaluation and Counseling, a nonprofit focused on supporting families in crisis, and is a strategic advisor to start-ups in the InsureTech and manufacturing sectors. Throughout her career, Cathy has been instrumental in the development of diverse finance talent through strategic investment and mentorship programs at Prudential, Rutgers University and other formal and informal networks. Cathy received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an MBA from Columbia University School of Business. She enjoys volunteering in her community, global travel, hiking, and cooking with her family.

Gail Donovan

Gail Donovan is a nationally known and accomplished health system executive. She has defined mission-critical and innovative strategies to achieve operational excellence and is known for her inclusive and engaging leadership style and relentless focus on execution. Gail is CEO and founder of The Bria Group providing strategic advisory services to boards, start-up companies, and executives. Over the course of her career, Gail has personally created over $1B of value through strategic operating expense and revenue performance enhancements and led numerous mergers, acquisitions, dissolutions, joint venture, and partnership deals. Her unique expertise in supply chain, emergency management/preparedness, integration of new products and services and managing change in highly complex environments positions her well to bring immediate value to corporate boards. As President of Health Services and COO at TriHealth, the $2B Cincinnati system of five hospitals and more than 150 ambulatory sites of care, she transformed its culture and drove growth through value-based healthcare delivery. During Gail's tenure at TriHealth, it earned numerous industry awards recognizing its operational excellence, including IBM Watson Health's Top 15 Health System and Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield's #1 performing ACO in Ohio and #2 in US. Eligible TriHealth hospitals received a Hospital Safety Grade of "A" by Leapfrog. Gail was previously the Chief Hospitals Operations Officer at The Mount Sinai Health System in New York City following a 27-year career with Continuum Health Partners (acquired by Mount Sinai in 2013). As COO at Continuum, Gail drove the strategy that created a $3B integrated delivery health system with seven hospitals throughout New York City. Gail has gained deep board experience through years of working with the Boards of TriHealth and Continuum, where she was the executive responsible for the Board's Strategic Planning, Technology, and Quality Committees. She is a Board Director and member of the Audit Committee of the Richmond County Savings Bank Foundation and a Board Director and member of the Executive, Finance, and Audit Committees of Village Care, a managed long-term care provider. Gail is passionate about contributing to systemic improvements in U.S. healthcare. She has devoted herself to numerous policy/advocacy boards, including the American Hospital Association, and the New York State and Greater New York Hospital Associations. She has received numerous awards and recognitions. Katy Hollister is a seasoned global leader and financial expert with nearly four decades of leadership experience at Deloitte, one of the world's largest global consultancies. She is currently on the board and audit committee of First Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSLR). Throughout her career, Katy has designed and driven strategic initiatives and led operations across Deloitte's most important businesses. Most recently, Katy served as the Chief Strategy Officer for the $8 billion Global Tax and Legal practice of 45,000 professionals. In this role, she led the integration of dozens of global practices, a massive undertaking that included a technology transformation in a complex environment of multi-jurisdictional regulatory, talent and brand management. Katy is a natural coach and leader whose style is anchored in her genuine enjoyment of collective problem solving and decision-making. A strategic and systems thinker, Katy thrives in high-stakes environments when circumstances are changing or ambiguous, multiple stakeholders are involved, and competing short- and long-term goals are at play. Katy's operational experience includes 17 years leading progressively larger businesses for Deloitte, ultimately owning a $1.5 billion P&L and leading a team of approximately 5,000 professionals in the U.S. and India. A licensed CPA and lawyer, her extensive client work has included public and private companies primarily in the manufacturing and consumer products sectors. Katy has a proven governance track record and financial acumen, with experience overseeing executive succession, culture, risk management, M&A (including integration), and finance/investment strategy. Matthew James Wang

Matthew James is currently a Vice President at Bank of America and serves as a product manager on the Global Equities Financing team. He has more than 15 years of experience in leading teams, managing relationships, and driving product development for institutional investors. He joined the firm in 2015 through the Global Banking and Markets (GBAM) Veterans Associate Program (VAP), based in New York, NY. Matthew James is a registered representative with BofA Securities, Inc. and drives strategic projects and addresses tactical enhancements supporting the firm's client-facing Mercury® portal and self-service tool capabilities for the hedge fund and market-maker client base. Prior to his working in the finance industry, Matthew James served as an active-duty Army intelligence officer. Matthew James also deployed overseas in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) in Kandahar, Afghanistan, where he was awarded a Bronze Star for actions during combat.
