Andrew Minturn - Founder

Andrew has been involved in the building industry for over 20 years and has been advising the New Zealand Government for the past 15 years. Notable roles and achievements have included, developing the New Zealand Building Consent Authority Accreditation system, he was the Department of Building and Housing representative and Principal Advisor on the Auckland Transition Authority and Chief Advisor to the Crown Manager in Christchurch for the Canterbury rebuild and Chief Advisor to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE). Andrew also has considerable experience as an International Advisor to the United Nations agencies of the World Bank and International Finance Corporation and International Aid & Development agency USAID. He is a regular conference presenter on the process of regulatory building control reform and has been delegated missions to assist countries of the Middle East, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Africa.

Grant Brown - Founder

Grant Brown has over 30 years' experience in the building industry relating to foundation design and construction. Grant is the owner of Conqra NZ Limited, which specialises in Asbestos contamination identification and removal. Grant is an innovator and has patented and successfully brought to the market several building related products such as: EZI-YAKKA Apache Stunna Grant has dedicated a large part of his professional career to assisting the education and training of his peers. Grant was recognised in 2015 for his dedication as was awarded a Life Membership of the Building Officials Institute of New Zealand where he is also the Auckland branch Convener of venues.
