WHISTLE

As a kid growing up in small-town Texas I preferred vintage shops over football practice. My bedroom was distinctly different from the rest of my house: collected object groupings were debated, window sills became improvised galleries, and guests were encouraged to look in my bedroom for its incongruity in an otherwise standard Texan home. By the time I moved to Austin my interest in twentieth-century design was established, fed primarily through academic books on industrial design, architecture, and continued vintage shopping... Vintage art and design shop with a focus on Mid-Century Modern, Art Deco, Secessionist, and Postmodern decor.
