CULINARY TALES

Established in 2013, Culinary Tales was developed out of Enactus Sydney (a student-led society driven by a passion for entrepreneurial spirit). As a not-for-profit social enterprise, Culinary Tales provides meaningful employment to refugee and migrant cooks as they facilitate their own cooking classes. We seek to provide our cooks with an avenue to share their unique culinary experiences and cultural stories with the community, and break down the barriers to social integration... Culinary Tales cares deeply about the community inclusion and awareness of refugees and migrants, and through the power of storytelling and food, we are passionate about sharing the stories and journeys of multicultural Australians. Equipping recent refugees and migrants with the experience and confidence to teach a cooking class allows us to provide them with meaningful employment and independence in paving their path...
