Barry K. Lagrone

Barry is a CPA who joined DG with many years' experience in public accounting and private business accounting. He holds an AA degree from Hinds Community College and BPA and MPA degrees from Mississippi State University. As a CPA with DG, Barry specializes in small business tax preparation and small business licensing. Barry is married with two children. In addition to spending time with his family, Barry enjoys rooting on his Alma Mater, Mississippi State, in athletic events and traveling.

Gareld (Gary) E. DeWitt

Gary joined DeWitt Giger, LLP in 1997. As a Partner, he has extensive knowledge in both tax and technology. Before becoming a CPA, Gary practiced as a pharmacist in the United States Air Force and in various hospital and retail settings. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and completed the required courses to sit for the CPA exam from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Gary is a member of the AICPA and the Society of Louisiana CPAs. He serves on several boards, including MedCamps of Louisiana, Inc., Boy Scouts of America Louisiana Purchase Council, The Twin Cities Krewe de Riviere, and University of Louisiana at Monroe Warhawk Club. In his free time, Gary enjoys spending time with family, camping, and fishing.

Patrick joined DG in August 2019 as a staff accountant. He is a graduate of LSU with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and has over 15 years of experience in the accounting field. His duties at DG include performing monthly accounting procedures and various other office projects as needed. Patrick recently got married and moved to the Monroe area from Baton Rouge. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and learning new things to do in the Monroe area. He is also an avid sports fan - especially of his Alma Mater, LSU.

Phillip L. Giger

Phillip has been providing public accounting services since 1984, joining the DeWitt Giger, LLP team in 1997. He is a Partner at the firm and is responsible for tax and financial reporting work. He also provides consulting, advisory, and tax services to small businesses, specializing in professional services firms. His background also includes time as CFO for several small businesses, where he gained day-to-day operational experience. Phillip earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Delta State University, Cleveland, Mississippi. He is a member of the AICPA, the Society of Louisiana CPAs, Kiwanis Club of Monroe, and serves as a Deacon and on the WFR Church Budget Committee. In his free time, Phillip enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors hunting and fishing.

Renee joined the firm in 2015 after a career in health care accounting. Renee serves her client base in all aspects of monthly accounting needs including payroll and sales tax return preparation. Renee is married and enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends. When not at the office, Renee spends her time reading, participating in outdoor activities such as gardening and enjoying a sunny day and nature. Renee also enjoys cooking and has several specialty dishes she shares with friends and family.

Scott joined the DeWitt Giger, LLP in 2008. As a Manager, his main responsibilities include preparing business tax returns and monthly accounting. Scott earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Outside the office, Scott enjoys fishing, hunting, and playing golf.

Terrie joined the DeWitt Giger, LLP team in 2016 as a Staff Accountant. With over 20 years of experience in the accounting field, Terrie prepares financial statements, payroll tax returns, and sales tax returns. When not at work, she is very active with her six grandchildren doing various activities such as, baseball, football, and BMX racing.
