Beth Jones

Job Titles:
  • Office Manager
Beth joined Allied Video in October 2017 as an Administrative Assistant. She assists with reception, duplication, disc printing and labeling, and other tasks around the office. Away from the office, Beth likes keeping it simple and spending time with those near and dear. She loves animals and has one dog, but plans to have more! Beth also enjoys experimenting with cooking, traveling, music, coffee, movies, and getting her hands on a good book!

BrAd Steiner

BrAd joined Allied Video Productions in 2013, bringing with him 20 years of experience in the industry. He describes his job as such: Herd cats (Producer), shoot them (Director of Photography), and then arrange them in a pleasing manner (Editor). Brad began his career in Texas, working in live television, feature & commercial film production, and everything in between. After moving to the Northwest, he's been producing marketing, training, corporate and commercial video projects for local, regional, and national clients. In 2019, BrAd joined Scott and Dan as a co-owner of AVP. His clients include The Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde, Salem Keizer Public Schools, Liberty House, City of Salem, , CTEC, JFO, OBA, OBI, OSH, OSU, OSP, WOU, UGM, and many other 3 and 4 letter acronyms, just to name a few. In his free time, he dabbles in acting, filmmaking, fly fishing, and generally being geeky. He's also the proud dad of 4 geeky kids that love Star wars.

Brian Hart

Brian joined Allied Video Productions in the summer of 2006. With over 13 years of experience, Brian learned his craft by purchasing a camera and shooting everything he could, learning production by a hands-on approach. Brian can work on all aspects of a production and enjoys pushing the limits of his artistic and graphic ability. Some of his clients include the Willamette Valley Rehabilitation Center, ODA, OCAPA, Stand for Children, Red Cross, and the Salem Chamber of Commerce to name just a few. Brian is an active member of the Salem community; he currently serves on the board of the Salem Progressive Film Series. He also co-founded, be, LLC, which was responsible for bringing the first "Before I Die" wall to Oregon and co-organized TEDxSalem, Salem's first TEDx event. Brian was also honored with the award of "The Original"; Statesman Journal's "20 under 40" in 2011.

Dan Walker

Dan joined the Allied Video team in 1998, becoming a Co-Owner and CFO in October 2002. Before working for AVP, Dan was the lead programmer for Interactive Design Associates, a company that produced computer based training. Combined with his artistic skills, Dan is able to create dynamic visual presentations of complex information and materials. His work includes local and national commercials, promotional videos for air and web and informational videos. Dan has a hand in most productions due to his extended knowledge in motion graphics, visual effects, compositing, color correction and DVD authoring. Dan has attended Liberty University, Chemeketa Community College and Portland State University. His clients include BAM Agency, 3/Thirds, Barney and Worth, Capitol Auto Group, City County Insurance, J&J Amusements, May Trucking Company, New Media NW, Pence Contractors, Salem Area Chamber of Commerce and many others. When Dan is not at the office, he can typically be found on a golf course, pickleball court or spending time with his wife, Jill and their dogs.

Dave Kaiser

Every year, Dave oversees hundreds of events at the Salem Convention Center in his roles as Manager of our dedicated AV Technicians. In addition to his role at SCC, he works various roles in field production, post production and live events. He graduated with degrees in Television Production from Mount Hood Community College and Speech Communication from Oregon State University. Before joining AVP as a regular employee in 2007, Dave freelanced for the company for almost fifteen years. During this time he also worked for various cable networks and other independent productions. When not at work he has numerous hobbies, from Morris dancing to archeology.

Kai Hennig

Kai joined the AVP team in October 2019 as our primary AV Tech at the Salem Convention Center. She attended Western Oregon University where she received her B.S. in Theatre Arts, with a focus on Production Management, and a minor in Communication Studies. After graduation, Kai became an Emerging Artist intern at Bag&Baggage Productions for the 2017-2018 season. Now at Allied Video Productions, she looks forward to continuing her dedication of storytelling and seeing how it shapes our communities.

Levi Smith

Levi joined Allied Video Productions as a Producer in October 2021, shortly after receiving a Bachelor's in Digital Communication Arts from Oregon State University. He brings six years of experience as a videographer at Focal Point Digital Media-winner of Oregon Bride Magazine's "Best Videographer" award for four consecutive years in his time there. His affinity for post-production has led him to master a variety of non-linear editing software, as well as software for 3D modeling, visualization, interactive design, and virtual reality. His independent studies at Oregon State explored alternative uses for emerging 360° video technology. While away from the office, he enjoys kayaking and skiing with family and friends.

Naomi Smith

Naomi joined Allied Video Productions in June of 2022 as the Receptionist. She's in charge of reception, duplication, disc printing and labeling. She attended Western Oregon University where she received her Bachelors in Art and Design. Outside of work, she enjoys painting and illustration, as well as spending time outdoors with friends and family. She's always willing to go on an adventure!

Ryan Hewlett

Ryan joined the Allied Video Productions team in October of 2021. He started producing and editing videos when he was 10 years old and brings many years of Video Production and Motion Graphics experience to assist on various projects and live events. He has a passion for storytelling, motion graphics, and Visual Effects and in 2018 he was awarded "Best Visual Effects" for his work in the "Portland 48 Hour Film Project." He's proud to be a member of the Allied Video Productions family and looks forward to continuing their work to serve the community through video.

Scott Hossner - CEO

Scott is Co-Owner and CEO of Allied Video Productions. Scott joined the company in 1990 as an unpaid intern while attending college. After receiving degrees in Television Production from Mount Hood Community College and Speech Communications from OSU, he joined the staff full time. Since coming on board, Scott has focused on events, public relations, education and dramatic work. His work spans everything from commercials to music festivals, and work for network television. His clients include Travel Oregon, PGE, CityCounty Insurance, Salem Leadership Foundation, Salem-Keizer School District, Portland Gay Men's Chorus, Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, Basic Rights Oregon, Boys and Girls Club, United Way, Oregon Judicial Department, Liberty House, City of Salem, Oregon Banker's Association, C-SPAN, and many others. Scott lives in downtown Salem and loves the city he calls home. In 2020 he was honored to receive a Distinguished Service Award from the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce. He is a lifelong movie buff and enjoys jogging (25 Hood-to-Coasts and counting!).
