Adam is a Technical Fellow at Electric Capital. He works on the firm's software infrastructure and its proprietary tools for tracking investments and ecosystem activity. Adam is excited about the importance of open source in Web3 and looks forward to contributing to the ecosystem.
Adam is both an engineer and an experienced leader of high-growth, world-class teams. Before Electric, Adam learned a lot about both finance and hypergrowth as the VP of Engineering at Robinhood.
Adam is also an entrepreneur. His start-up, Sharegrove, was bought by Facebook in 2010. After spending his first few years at Facebook revamping the chat feature, he went on to lead the Product Infrastructure Team, which was responsible for popular open source frameworks like GraphQL and React.
Akash is part of Electric's Advisor Network. He advises founders on engineering architecture, building and scaling high-performing engineering teams, and more.
Akash was CTO of MoonPay, CTO at Afterpay (acquired by Block), and led engineering teams at Twitter and Uber. At Afterpay, he founded and led the technology teams that were responsible for Afterpay's US expansion. Block acquired Afterpay in 2021 for $29 billion. Previously, he led all technology products for Uber's 3.5+ million drivers including onboarding, compliance, and driver experience, as well as led technical teams that added tens of millions of users to Twitter.
Avichal is a Co-Founder and General Partner on the investment team at Electric Capital.
Avichal is a successful serial entrepreneur with executive experience at Google and Facebook, which acquired his previous company in 2012. At Facebook he was Director of Product Management for the Local product group, a team of 400 engineers responsible for billions in revenue.
Prior to Electric, Avichal was an investor in crypto projects such as Anchorage, Bitwise, Celo, dYdX, Lightning Labs, and OpenSea and unicorns such as Airtable, Boom Supersonic, Color Genomics, Cruise, Deel, Figma, Material Secutiy, Newfront Insurance, Notion, Nova Credit, and Pulley.
Curtis is a Co-Founder and General Partner on the investment team at Electric Capital, focusing on open source developer ecosystems, privacy preserving technologies, and decentralized economies.
Curtis is an entrepreneur and engineer. Before Electric, he was CTO at Cruxlux, a semantic search company acquired by Kosmix/Walmart Labs and CTO at Spool, a mobile infrastructure company acquired by Facebook. At Facebook, he was an engineering lead on News Feed, Events, and Developer Experience during his tenure.
He was an early investor in Bitcoin and Ethereum and has invested in various frontier technology companies such as Cruise Automation and Boom Supersonic.
Elad is part of Electric's Advisor Network. He advises founders on fundraising, product strategy, and organizational growth.
Elad co-founded Color Health and Mixer Labs (acquired by Twitter). He helped scale Twitter from 90 to 1,500 people, started Google's Mobile team, and authored the High Growth Handbook. Elad has invested in over 40 companies worth $1 billion or more, 30 of which he funded at the seed or series A, including Airbnb, Airtable, Anchorage, Brex, Coinbase, Figma, Instacart, OpenSea, and Stripe.
Emily Meyers - Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Legal Officer

Emily is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Electric Capital. She advises the firm on all legal matters and is responsible for overseeing its compliance function.
Emily has over 15 years of experience delivering strategic legal and compliance solutions to facilitate growth, protect assets, and mitigate risk. Prior to joining Electric Capital, Emily was Deputy General Counsel at Paxos and Associate General Counsel at WeWork, where she built and led major global legal and compliance initiatives. Earlier in her career, she was an enforcement attorney at the Federal Election Commission and a senior associate at WilmerHale LLP.
Emily earned her B.A. magna cum laude from Brown University, and her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.
Emre is an Engineer at Electric Capital.
Prior to Electric, Emre spent six years as a software engineer at Bloomberg. While there, he built financial applications, models and analytics platforms to help clients discover, analyze, and execute mortgage-backed security trades.
Emre has a Bachelors of Applied Science in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
Gary is an Engineer at Electric Capital.
Prior to Electric, Gary spent time exploring crypto ideas across NFTs and DAOs, and was an engineer at menswear marketplace Grailed and real estate platform Qualia.
Gary received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford.

Jamie is a member of the Investor Strategy and Operations Teams at Electric Capital, where she works with the firm's limited partners to support fundraising, investor relations, and firm operations.
Prior to Electric, Jamie worked at Twitter as an HR Associate, supporting the Global HR Team. She has worked as an Executive Business Partner at Facebook and the private equity firm HGGC.
Jamie has a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art and Architecture from the University of Southern California.
Jay is part of Electric's Advisor Network. He advises founders through the regulatory landscape.
Jay was the 32nd Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. He worked with the CFTC, the Treasury Department, and the Federal Reserve to address the classification and regulation of digital assets.
Jim is an Engineer at Electric Capital, and focuses on liquid crypto portfolio management, as well as DeFi, and carry strategies.
Prior to Electric, Jim co-founded a cryptocurrency derivatives exchange and worked at Graham Capital and Citigroup for nearly 10 years. While at Graham, he managed a 1.5 billion dollar global macro book with another portfolio manager.
Jim graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Computational Finance
Kate is a Data Scientist on the Engineering Team at Electric Capital.
Kate started her career as an actuary and later pursued her passion in data science. Prior to joining Electric, Kate was a Senior Decision Scientist at CVS Health. Before Electric, Kate had 4 years of experience in actuarial due diligence for Private Equity, and 2 years of experience in data analytics and modeling.
Kate received her B.S. in Actuarial Science and Finance from New York University Stern School of Business and M.S. in Computational Analytics from Georgia Institute of Technology. Kate is also an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).

Ken is an experienced software engineer and product manager with a combined 15 years of experience leading teams and building products at VMware and Facebook.
Ken has a Masters in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelors of Science and Engineering in Computer Science from Princeton University.
Kevin is part of Electric's Advisor Network. He advises founders through the regulatory landscape.
Kevin was on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. As the Fed's point man during the Global Financial Crisis, Kevin was a key architect of the policy response that ultimately averted economic collapse.

Maria received her A.B. in Government from Harvard and M.Eng. in Computer Science from Cornell.

Martha is Head of Investor Strategy at Electric Capital working with the firm's limited partners and leading strategy and fundraising. She has over 15 years of experience partnering with institutional investors across asset classes.
Prior to Electric, she was a Managing Director at Bitwise Asset Management leading Business Development. Outside of crypto, Martha was Vice President of Investor Relations at TCV and spent eight years at Commonfund and BlackRock partnering with foundations, endowments, pensions, consultants, and family offices. Martha started her career at Advent International.
Martha has a BA from Roanoke College with dual majors in International Relations and History.
Mitchell is an Analyst at Electric Capital. He works across the organization.
Before joining Electric Capital, Mitchell helped manage Princeton University's $38 billion endowment, where he spent four years investing in venture capital and private equity managers across the globe. He also helped lead the endowment's efforts to increase diversity in the asset management industry.
Mitchell graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in English.

Rebecca is the Chief Policy Officer at Polygon Labs, where she oversees global policy and drives relationships with regulators across the globe. She was previously Chief Legal and Policy Officer at the Aave Companies, where she advocated for policies supporting decentralized blockchain technology. Rebecca was previously a partner at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, and FisherBroyles, where she represented well-known DeFi & crypto software development companies in litigation and regulatory matters. Rebecca is a pioneer in understanding the complex legal considerations around DeFi, DAOs, legal structures around protocols, tokens, and more.
Sanjay is a Researcher at Electric Capital, and focuses on liquid crypto portfolio management, including trading and defi investing strategies.
Sanjay started his career as a consultant at BCG, where he advised Fortune 500 companies in the industrials and healthcare industry. Since then, he went on to start and operate two different companies.
Sanjay has a bachelors and masters from Stanford University, and a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.

Prior to joining Electric, Sid was an early team member at FalconX and worked as a jack-of-all trades across Trading, Product, and Partnerships.

Prior to Electric, Sisun founded and sold Ramper, a blockchain infra simplifying web3 user onboarding. Before that, he founded More Labs, a Series B consumer goods company. Sisun started his career as a product manager at Facebook, Uber, and Tesla.
He graduated in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
Swati is an Engineer at Electric Capital, excited by blockchain and cryptocurrencies potential to economically empower and provide financial access globally.
She's currently working on Dracula, Electric Capital's internal portfolio, accounting, and tax tool.
She completed dual degrees in Computer Science and Economics, and interned at Bridgewater Associates as an Investment Engineer and is interested in working at the intersection of Computer Science, Economics and Finance. She was previously at Novi/Libra, Meta's crypto initiative, Meta Pay Wallet and New Product Experimentation, Meta's startup incubator, where she worked on Forecast, a predictions platform.
Thuan is a Partner and Head of Founder Platform at Electric Capital, working on building community and supporting Electric founders.
Thuan was most recently Head of Operations for a firm that manages learning opportunities for senior government officials from APEC countries. She has prior experience as an analyst at The World Bank, IFC, and Oxfam working on promoting women's economic empowerment in Asia and Africa.
She has a Masters in Public Policy from Potsdam University and a Bachelors in English Literature from Hanoi University of Foreign Studies.
