Adam is a Technical Fellow at Electric Capital. He works on the firm's software infrastructure and its proprietary tools for tracking investments and ecosystem activity. Adam is excited about the importance of open source in Web3 and looks forward to contributing to the ecosystem. Adam is both an engineer and an experienced leader of high-growth, world-class teams. Before Electric, Adam learned a lot about both finance and hypergrowth as the VP of Engineering at Robinhood. Adam is also an entrepreneur. His start-up, Sharegrove, was bought by Facebook in 2010. After spending his first few years at Facebook revamping the chat feature, he went on to lead the Product Infrastructure Team, which was responsible for popular open source frameworks like GraphQL and React.

Akash Garg

 Akash was CTO of MoonPay, CTO at Afterpay (acquired by Block), and led engineering teams at Twitter and Uber. At Afterpay, he founded and led the technology teams that were responsible for Afterpay's US expansion. Block acquired Afterpay in 2021 for $29 billion. Previously, he led all technology products for Uber's 3.5+ million drivers including onboarding, compliance, and driver experience, as well as led technical teams that added tens of millions of users to Twitter.

Prior to joining Electric Capital, Emily was Deputy General Counsel at Paxos and Associate General Counsel at WeWork, where she built and led major global legal and compliance initiatives. Earlier in her career, she was an enforcement attorney at the Federal Election Commission and a senior associate at WilmerHale LLP. Emily earned her B.A. magna cum laude from Brown University, and her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.
