Chris Thompson has over 15 years of experience in software, FinTech, telecommunications, and information technology. He started his capital markets career in mining equity research at Scotia Capital in 2009 before joining Wellington West Capital Markets in 2010. Subsequently, Chris spent three years at an NYC-based, investment bank focusing on mergers & acquisitions. Most recently, he was at Global Maxfin Capital, M Partners, and Ubika Research in equity research roles, focusing on the mining, technology, business information, and health technology sectors. Chris holds an Engineering degree from the University of Toronto, an MBA in Investment Management from Concordia University, and is a CFA® charterholder.
