Established in 1987, The Houston Group's sole line of business is operating as a full service commercial mortgage banking company, specialized in the financing of income producing properties. The bulk of our loan production is fixed rate permanent loans for insurance companies, pension funds, banks, government sponsored enterprises and private lenders. Specific property types financed include multifamily, office, medical office, retail, industrial, hospitality, self-storage and owner-occupied properties. As a complementary function to permanent loan originations, we also are active in providing construction financing, debt and equity combined structures, and the secondary marketing of existing loans and loan portfolios.
