HUMAN SERVICES REDESIGN TOOLKIT

In our role as system change facilitators, we provide opportunities for individuals and organizations to reflect upon issues of identity, power, and structures as we build capacity for new ways of working, thinking, and leading. Yet, we also acknowledge that we are in our own learning journey to live up and into these expectations of ourselves. Relationship-building is key with our partners, especially early on, because we want to ensure that they are able to challenge us to grow and do better in this process. People from diverse communities need to be engaged in design conversations, and we need to continue listening and learning from them as we do design work together... This is a collection of what we use in practice to facilitate conversations, prototyping, learning, and service redesign. At the Future Services Institute, we combine our understanding of the redesign context with these tools and participatory methods to thoughtfully support our partners through their redesign..
