The Investigator Standards Alliance (ISA) was founded in 2010 to introduce the Investigator Compentency Standard (ICS-2010.1). The ICS-2010.1 standard has been established to meet the requisites of the Security Services and Investigators Act (SSIA), as well as the legal and industry requirement relating to the competency of a licensed investigator as it pertains to specific areas of professional practice.
