Alex Dimitrief is the President & CEO of GE Global. He is responsible for driving GE's international growth by connecting cross-business capabilities and building localization strategies that address critical needs in the 180+ countries where GE does business. Mr. Dimitrief is a Senior Vice President of the GE Company.
Mr. Dimitrief has held a number of global leadership roles since he joined in 2007 as Vice President for Litigation & Legal Policy. Mr. Dimitrief led the Legal & Compliance functions as General Counsel for the GE Capital and GE Energy businesses (which at the time included GE Power, GE Oil & Gas, and GE Energy Connections). In 2015, Mr. Dimitrief was named the General Counsel of GE, leading a global team responsible for GE's legal matters, compliance, governmental affairs, and environmental health and safety.
Mr. Dimitrief came to GE from Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he had been a trial lawyer for 20 years. Prior to that, he was a White House Fellow in the Reagan Administration's Office of Political and Intergovernmental Affairs, and an Honors Intern at the Department of Justice. He graduated from Yale College with a B.A. in Economics & Political Science, and earned his J.D. at Harvard Law School.
Mr. Dimitrief and his wife Jill have three children and actively support numerous charitable organizations. He presently serves on the Boards of Ronald McDonald House Charities and Boston Children's Hospital.

Alison Taunton-Rigby, Ph.D., O.B.E., has been president and chief executive officer of several public and private companies in the life science and healthcare industries. She has served as a director on a number of public, private, non-profit, ESOP, college, foundation, and mutual fund boards.
Dr. Taunton-Rigby received her doctorate from the University of Bristol in Bristol, England, and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of the Harvard Business School. She is a Director of Boston Children's Hospital, Blumont Inc., TetraGenetics, and the International Women's Forum Leadership Foundation. In addition, she is a member of the Business Advisory Council, Simmons University, School of Management, and of Boston University School of Public Health, Health Law, Policy & Management Advisory Board, a former director and chair of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council (MBC), and of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), a director emeritus of the Biomedical Science Careers Program, a past director of the Massachusetts Women's Forum. In 2005 she was appointed by the governor to the Massachusetts Biomedical Research Advisory Committee (stem cell research) and in 2008 to the Scientific Advisory Board, Massachusetts Life Science Center.
In 2002 Dr. Taunton-Rigby was awarded the OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) by Queen Elizabeth II for her work as a leader in the research, development, and promotion of biotechnology. In 2009 she was awarded an honorary D.Sc. by the University of Bristol.
Dr. Taunton-Rigby was founder, president, and chief executive officer of RiboNovix Inc., a biotechnology company. Prior to this she was president and chief executive officer of Aquila Biopharmaceuticals Inc., a public life sciences company that was merged with Antigenics Inc. in 2000. She was also president and chief executive officer of Cambridge Biotech Corporation, where she led the turnaround, restructuring, and emergence from bankruptcy. In addition, she has served as president and chief executive officer of Mitotix Inc., now merged with GPC Biotech. Previous to this position, she was senior vice president, biotherapeutics, at Genzyme Corporation, where she had overall responsibility for Genzyme's biotherapeutics division. Dr. Taunton-Rigby has also served in senior executive positions at ADL Inc., Vivotech Inc., Biogen, Inc., and Collaborative Research Inc.
Dr. Taunton-Rigby has served as a director on over 20 companies, including seven public companies. In addition, she has served as a director of numerous non-profit and business organizations. She is or has been a member of or chaired Compensation, Audit, Nominating and Governance, and Strategic Planning committees. Dr. Allan S. Bufferd is Treasurer Emeritus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He served in various investment roles at MIT for more than 30 years, including 19 years as chief investment officer, and was the founding president of the MIT Investment Management Company in 2004. He was an ex-officio member of the governing board of MIT, serving as a member of its executive, investment, and development committees. Prior to joining MIT, he was engaged in engineering and corporate management.
Dr. Bufferd currently serves as an advisor to the Lumina Foundation and to the National University of Singapore, and to two private family offices. He is a board member of the Risk Management Foundation, a support organization to the Controlled Risk Insurance Company ("CRICO"), a medical malpractice insurer, which board he chaired for 12 years, and continues to serve CRICO as chair of its investment committee and as a member of other board committees. Dr. Ivor Braden Horn, currently Director of Health Equity and Product Inclusion at Google, has more than 20 years of experience as an executive in health system, academic, and venture-backed entrepreneurial environments.
Prior to joining Google, Dr. Horn was chief medical officer at Accolade. She is also an active angel investor and advisor for early start-ups and established health technology companies.
Dr. Horn currently serves as a board director for Care Academy, as well as serving on the advisory boards of Onboard Health and Way to Wellville. Gary Loveman, Ph.D., is also a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Finance at Harvard Business School. He previously taught Service Management in the M.B.A. and executive education programs at the school from 1989-98. Loveman was awarded the B.A. in economics from Wesleyan University, and the Ph.D. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was an Alfred Sloan Doctoral Dissertation Fellow.
Dr. Loveman left HBS in 1998 and became Chairman, CEO, and President of Caesars Entertainment Corporation. During his 17-year tenure, Dr. Loveman oversaw a period of growth that included several major acquisitions making Caesars the largest and most diversified company in the gaming industry. In 2008, Caesars went private in a $30.7 billion transaction led by Apollo and TPG. He pioneered the use of cutting-edge technology and data analytics to deliver differentiated customer service and guest loyalty. Dr. Loveman also led the development of Wellness Rewards, Caesars' widely recognized, incentive-based health and wellness program for the company's 70,000 employees and their families. Dr. Loveman joined Aetna in October 2015, serving as president of Consumer Health and Service, Aetna's health services business, through January 2018. The Consumer Health and Services organization was responsible for helping Aetna members achieve their best health and for fostering innovative collaborations with health care providers to improve the overall quality, cost, and experience for Aetna members. Dr. Loveman led the company's population health management and consumer engagement strategies, health and clinical services, care management, digital consumer health products, analytics and data science, pharmacy, and marketing areas.
From 2012-15, Dr. Loveman chaired the Business Roundtable's Health & Retirement Committee, which focuses on improving the quality and affordability of the nation's health and retirement systems.
