W. Edward Gonzalez

Dr. Gonzalez is a Tampa native, husband and father. His professional qualifications include B.A. and D.M.D. degrees from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He is a medical and surgical staff member at Brandon Regional Hospital, an Associate Clinical Professor, and teaches future Pediatric Dentists at the University of Florida. He has achieved the highest standards of orthodontic care and was awarded the title Diplomate of the American Orthodontic Society by his peers. Before establishing Pediatric Dental Center in 1975, Dr. Gonzalez was Chief Resident in Pediatric Dentistry at the Philadelphia Children's Hospital. In 2013, Dr. Gonzalez sold the Brandon location of the Pediatric Dental Center and consolidated his pediatric dentistry and orthodontic practice to his Tampa location on South Dale Mabry Highway. As national spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentristry, his views and techniques are frequently featured by the nation's media, who have identified him as a leader in his profession. He is a prominent lecturer both in the U.S. and in Europe, and his published work on pediatric dentistry has been translated into several languages.
