Ltd. incorporated after getting the first Kolkata Port contract for INR 21.69 crores (received in 2017). KMEW Offshore Private Limited is registered for 10 years as a company under the Tonnage Tax Rule with the Income Tax department of the GoI, which allows it to enjoy negligible tax burden as compared to the corporate tax regime. This is exploiting a GoI push toward increasing Indian-owned vessels and tonnage, as well as allowing for training of Indian crew onboard Indian-flag ships. KMEW Offshore has an approximate asset value of INR 6 crores...
