Loving My Hair Braiding Shop was established in 2017. It was the brainchild of Brandiinez (Brandi) Porter and Geoffrea Morris. In 2018, Jacynta Jordan joined the team in promoting its first Loving My Hair Initiative Pop Up Shop in San Francisco for local foster youth. After the successful event, these ladies saw the need for a local Braiding Shop in their community and in January of 2019, the trio secured a commercial space and Loving My Hair Braiding Shop was created.
