Sami Khader is MA'AN's Director General and one of the founders of the MA'AN Development Center since its establishment in January 1989. The Director-General, who is appointed by the Board of Directors, is responsible for overall operations of the Center including: staffing, planning, managing MA'AN's work and evaluating Center programs as well as implementing policy decisions and giving direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives; lobbying and advocacy, and represents the Center on the local, national, and international level.
