Marine Gateway 2 will help relieve pressure on the limited amount of industrial space in the region by creating an additional 300,000 sq. ft. of stacked urban industrial space in Vancouver - a sixfold increase to what currently exists at the site... Its proximity to end-users, public transit, and transportation corridors would help attract urban industrial users such as digital media creators, food commissaries, and other production, distribution, and repair companies... A proposal to transform an auto lot in South Vancouver into a transit-oriented hub with urban industrial and below-market & rental residential space.
