AFRICAN

NESDAF, NanoEnergy for Sustainable Development in Africa (NESDAF), is founded to advance the capacity building for sustainable energy development and create a motivational research environment in Africa. Before starting this initiative, we identified the most important research areas in nanoscience and nanotechnology for Africa that can drive the development of sustainable energy technologies, with a particular emphasis on innovative concepts and approaches. Our long academic services to students and researchers from approximately 11 African countries (South Africa, Senegal, Morocco, Ethiopia, Nigeria, DRCongo, Rwanda, Cameroon, Ghana, Botswana and Zambia) are tailored toward the advancement of emerging technologies through increasing the mutual cooperation and networking between academic and industrial organizations, and maximize the benefits from cooperation with various African and international organizations.
