It is our hope that by building this Collaborative Community of stakeholders from diverse disciplines, geographies, industries, viewpoints, and populations, we may prevent duplication of efforts, share knowledge, and accelerate progress. We have also made our research protocols and resources publicly available and plan to create an open-source data repository to share data from our studies in healthy human and in critical care settings... We are dedicated to ensuring the outcome of our work will benefit communities who are disproportionately disadvantaged by challenges in pulse oximeters and while we are on this journey, we would love to hear from you if you have any questions or ideas that can help us address this problem in a meaningful and equitable way... OpenOximetry.org will improve access to safe pulse oximeters by sharing data and developing improved oximeter technology standards
