PEAPODS - Key Persons
I had worked in the early year's sector for 15 years after completing my NNEB nursery nurse training. I had gained experience from working in a range of settings - schools, nursery schools, day nurseries and residential care, with children with differing needs including hearing impairment, learning disabilities and looked after children, in a variety of roles including management. After nearly 3 years of searching for suitable premises, going through the planning process, with several disappointments along the way, Peapods finally opened its doors in April 2013, fulfilling my ambition of setting up and running my own nursery. I was very excited to be able to put my knowledge and experience into creating a special setting that nurtures to the full, each child's unique character and potential.
