The Prince George's Judo Club is a non-profit, authorized sports organization dedicated to the promotion of judo as a sport and the physical and personal development of today's youth through the Olympic sport of judo. To accomplish these purposes, the club, under the direction of Edwin Y. Takemori, holds classes for beginner through advanced judo students, conducts educational and self-defense Judo demonstrations, through the Department of Parks and Recreation, and runs a variety of tournaments and clinics every year. The club practices at two sites: Glenn Dale Community Center near Bowie, Maryland, under the direct supervision of Mr. Takemori and Harmony Hall Regional Center in Ft. Washington, Maryland under Steve Manzek. Visitors are always welcome to observe classes and tournaments.
