Craig has worked in Direct Mail across 24 years, starting from the ground up he has built an extensive knowledge of mailing equipment as well as the processes involved in Direct Mail.
He works well under pressure and has a fantastic team of operators and assistants supporting him that strive to hit every mail date whilst maintaining exceptional standards of quality.
Craig loves the challenge of making bespoke mailing pieces work through non-conventional machines and enjoys problem solving to meet the customer's requirements.
He is an avid motorsports fan and in his spare time participates in some Esport sim racing leagues.
Jacqui has worked in the print and DM arena for approx. 15 years gathering a lot of knowledge and experience through various production and customer facing roles.
As an Account Manager, Jacqui's key skills in communication, relationship management and product knowledge are critical to delivering mailings and quotes in a timely, efficient manner, something she takes great pride in. Jacqui enjoys undertaking daily challenges and supporting the team, is always happy to work later than her hours as & when needed.
Outside of work, Jacqui enjoys a great social life with family and friends.
Jamie took a risk and left his previous job just as the first lockdown was introduced in search of a Level 3 Apprenticeship in a brand new industry. 4 months later in July 2020 he landed on his feet at Principal Mailing Solutions.
With zero knowledge of the industry, he has thrown himself into the deep end to learn as much as possible, this includes showing a very strong interest in learning the data processing side of the business, which under the guidance of Sam and John he is sure to be able to achieve this.
Jamie is always on hand to help where needed - this includes staying extra hours in the laser room or working weekends to help ensure mailings all hit their dates during peak times.
Outside of work Jamie is an avid gamer and in the past year travelled to USA and Canada to compete at a high level.
John has worked within the print and direct mail industry for over twenty five years. His career started when he joined the data department of a very successful direct mail company. Staring at the bottom with no experience, but with a lot of enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, John soon worked his way up to a management position. Working with the team, he implemented new procedures and refined key processes still used today and helped to motivate an extremely busy and constantly growing department.
During this period, the idea for creating Cygnus was born. The now market leading data software, was designed, and used in conjunction with his team, meaning that John is now one of its longest ever users. This, along with over twenty years' experience using Quadient document composition software has given John the ability to offer the "complete package".
Over the years since John has gained invaluable experience working in all areas of the industry. Aside from data processing and document composition skills, John has a comprehensive account management and production background with maintenance and operational training on most shop floor machinery. However, with a reputation of being methodical and meticulous, John's true love has always been programming and variable design. This is why Principal Mailing Solutions is such a perfect fit. Bringing that expertise into a growing, vibrant, and passionate environment while working within a team that strives towards a common goal is the perfect marriage.
Outside of work, John enjoys a variety of interests, such as reading, gaming, music, films, photography and motorsport.
Ketlina started her career at Principal Mailing in 2019 as an Apprentice Office Administrator passing all here exams with flying colours and has continued to grow her knowledge of client services and administration. Ketlina has a great working attitude and is a good communicator with both clients & colleagues, internally & externally. Two of Ketlina's strongest attributes are her superb organisational skills & attention to detail These are also underpinned by a flexible attitude & willing to work beyond her working hours to ensure our customer expectations are met.
Outside of work, Ketlina enjoys a great social life with family and friends, booking holidays & getting on planes.
Mandie has worked within the print industry for more than twenty years. During this time, she has had the distinct advantage of working on all sides of the industry, including working for a design agency, print management company, and print production. In addition, she also spent several years working for a blue-chip multinational company as their print buyer.
This experience enables her to offer the best service to our clients, as she understands the pressures and requirements from all sides; and can bring her wealth of knowledge to find the best solutions from a brand, production, and cost perspective. She works closely with our account team to deliver the highest quality service to our clients.
Outside work, Mandie co-manages a social group and enjoys trying (and sometimes failing) to get out of Escape Rooms.
Robin has worked within the marketing print and direct mail sales arena for over 30 years. His early years were spent client side in marketing and print purchasing roles for the UK's largest credit card provider, this experience now proves invaluable enabling him to understand embrace differing client needs and demands.
Robin has recently joined the Principal senior leadership team, attracted by the scope of products and services that Principal can provide, along with the excellent reputation for high levels of quality and service. His remit is to work closely with our current clients and new prospects, helping to develop and produce powerful direct mail campaigns, which play a vital role in driving customer responses and improve marketing return on investment. This is alongside working closely with the Principal team providing support and advice, and helping to develop long term strategies to ensure as a business we move with the times and recognise changing customer needs. As with the rest of the team Robin is hugely passionate and enthusiastic about what we have to offer and particularly enjoys implementing new business wins and developing new customer relationships.
He enjoys a good meal with a couple of beers (Italian preferably), and all forms of motorsport, on a track day he was referred to as a "frustrated racing driver trying to get out"!
Sam started his career at Mainstream Direct as an apprentice data processor in 2013. Quickly learning the basics, he used the knowledge and resources available to him to take ownership of the data processing function. He proceeded to push the boundaries with data and document composition far beyond the capabilities of the department prior to his arrival. By the late twenty-tens, Sam was solely responsible for all the DP work passing through the business, and had raised client expectations of responsiveness, accuracy, and attention to detail to an extremely high level.
The ownership of the business changed hands in March 2019, and after a brief transition period and restructure, Sam was appointed as General Manager in September 2019. This was in recognition of the potential to push his unwavering commitment, technical knowledge, and passion for quality across the business. Alongside the rebrand to Principal Mailing Solutions, Sam led by example in the push to rebuild the management team and revitalise the culture of the business into one where an excellent customer experience was the highest priority.
Now, as Operations Director, Sam continues to drive the business forward towards its goal of being the most fast, flexible, responsive, reliable and knowledgeable one stop shop for print and direct mail in the country.
Outside of work, Sam is a family man and spends his time spoiling his children and indeed spoiling himself in his love for all things tech and gaming!
