Brent Lydic

Throughout his 25 years as a leadership consultant, Brent has been granted such titles such as "the calm in a storm" and "the source of reason in chaos". Time and again, Brent has guided leaders to make difficult decisions with courage and clarity, working through the tangled web of leading, equipping, and caring for people. When asked about his "HR Superpowers", Brent states that he has been blessed with a deep capacity to accurately perceive core issues amid confusing and emotionally charged situations. When asked to clarify, Lydic suggests, "One of the most fundamental tasks of an effective HR consultant is helping leaders identify with their teams first as people, and then as performers. I have been privileged to see this transformation come to life in vibrant, life-altering moments, resulting in stronger relationships, more resilient teams, and deeper engagement in meaningful work. Brent considers it a great privilege to have provided leadership consultation in successful organizations in a variety of industries: non-profit, for-profit, health care, retirement communities, para-church community groups, financial services, child advocacy, customer loyalty. Cynthia Keaton

Cynthia Keaton brings to Prescott HR Consulting over 20 years of human resources leadership experience in multiple industries from start-ups and acquisitions to Fortune 500 companies. Her expertise includes strategy, HR metrics, high volume recruiting, employee relations, benchmarking and design of employee benefits and compensation programs, developing strong HR teams, resolving compliance issues, developing and delivering supervisor training, and managing leadership development initiatives. Cynthia holds a master's degree in Human Resources from the University of South Carolina. She has obtained multiple certifications, including Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), and Group Benefits Associate (GBA). She recently relocated to Sarasota Florida where she enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors. She enjoys walking, hiking and boating.

Jasmine Morrisey

Jasmine has over seven years of experience as a Human Resources professional supporting various areas of hr including hr management, talent acquisition, strategic planning, employee relations, and policy and procedure for both small and large organizations. Jasmine is a SHRM certified Human Resources professional and has earned her Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from Morgan State University and her Masters degree in Human Resources Development from Towson University. Jasmine is driven and passionate about human resources and enjoys working with students and helping them with career planning as an assistant career coach. Outside of work, Jasmine loves to travel, try new restaurants and plan events!

Kimberly Prescott Speaks - Founder, President

Early on in her corporate HR career, Kimberly Prescott earned a reputation as a confident, fearless advisor. Kimberly noticed that while some of her HR colleagues hesitated to make the bold or tough recommendations that a situation required, she was unintimidated by sticky situations, driven to serve companies and leaders with the best advice and guidance for what to do next. Her willingness to address, head on, the issues at hand - along with her love of all things HR (employment law compliance, employee relations and business strategy) - led her to start her own HR consulting firm. Prescott HR was launched in 2014 to relentlessly handle all of the HR challenges, not just the easy ones. Kimberly is practiced at assisting clients with developing a strong internal management and human resources structure during periods of organizational change and/or rapid growth. She's also adept at creating and defining HR departments and practices from the ground up. Kimberly's commitment to helping her clients is unwavering and her confidence, palpable. With expertise, authenticity, and ease, she identifies, simplifies, and resolves problems. Kimberly brings nearly two decades of experience from previous HR leadership and director positions, including at Whole Foods, Social Solutions, Maxim Healthcare Services, TEKsystems, Paychex, and Giant Food. Community and giving back is important to Kimberly. Among others, she is Past President of the Howard County Human Resources Society (HoCo HRS) and she is a pro bono consultant with the Taproot Foundation. Kimberly holds the Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certifications. She attended the University of Maryland University College, studying Human Resources Management. When Kimberly is not working with clients, she enjoys traveling for good food, shopping, and spending time with her daughter. Kimberly is an absolute expert around compliance. She is highly knowledgeable and capable in the areas of compliance, employment law, strategy, and conflict resolution."

Laura Donohoe

Laura has over 15 years' experience in the human resources field. She has been responsible for auditing, planning, and directing all aspects of the organization's human resources policies, objectives, and initiatives; internally promoting the desired corporate culture; transforming HR efforts to attain business strategies; and engaging business units as true partners to help execute the overall business strategy by getting the most out of the organization's talent. Laura is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She has also obtained her MBA from Mount Saint Mary's University and holds three Bachelor degrees from California University of Pennsylvania in Business Administration, Information Technology, and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Laura is an active member of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is also an active member of FC (Frederick County) SHRM where she also served 2 years as a board member and committee chair.

Lisa Para

Lisa has over 15 years in Human Resources.She enjoys working with companies to streamline and enhance processes, benefits, and technology. Her strategy is to provide recommendations based on a company's employee demographic, strategic plan, budget, and current resources. She has worked with companies in varying industries and sizes. Lisa is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Nakia Carter

Nakia Carter is a Senior HR Consultant with over 15 years of experience providing fearless HR solutions for businesses and governments. As a Human Resources professional, Nakia has contributed to a number of industries including government contracting, non-profit, assets management, justice & sustainability, trucking, healthcare and education. She's worked with clients with less than 20 and over 5000 employees, start-ups and seasoned organizations. Nakia is a Notary Public and is an active member of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), HR Girlfriends, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and Human Resources Society of Howard County (HoCo). Rosalind White

Rosalind White is a seasoned Human Resources Executive with 30 plus years of experience managing efficient and effective Human Resources departments. Ms. White has supervised employees in the areas of Recruitment, Selection, Employee Relations, Benefits Administration, Human Resources Management Information System Development, Corporate Training programs and Payroll Administration. She has also provided Government Contract Administration and Project Management support. Her work with numerous Executive Management teams has ensured that corporate goals and objectives were achieved, while maintaining cohesive and loyal workforces. Since 2017, Ms. White has been providing consulting support to small and medium size businesses.

Shannon Knupp

Shannon has 25 years' experience as a human resources professional leading all functional areas including compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, HRIS, employee and labor relations, workforce planning and management, employee engagement and culture, learning and development, compliance, as well as payroll. She has worked for national and international organizations ranging in employee size from less than 200 to more than 20,000. Shannon has vast experience working with executive teams to implement human resources programs and lead initiatives that align with and execute the business strategy, mission, vision, and values. Shannon holds a Master of Studies in Human Resources Law from Wake Forest University School of Law, a Master of Arts in Organizational Management and Human Resources from Antioch University Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She also holds professional certifications including, Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP). Shannon is passionate about sharing her knowledge of human resources through activities such as leading study groups for human resources related certifications, being an Executive Teaching Assistant for MBA human resources courses at the University of Rhode Island College of Business, and volunteering as a mentor for small businesses through SCORE.

Theresa Stokes-Hill

Theresa Stokes-Hill has over thirty plus years of professional human resources management experience. She has devoted her career to helping create positive purpose driven organizations. Theresa has been a strategic and operational business partner to management teams at "for profit" as well as "not for profit" organizations. She has worked in HR at financial, healthcare, cable television, and local government organizations. Her accomplishments and expertise include successfully meeting talent acquisition goals, creating competitive employee compensation plans, providing effective employee training programs, implementation of HR/Payroll, Benefits Administration and Performance Management systems, insuring employment law compliance and providing management with effective employee relations advice and counsel. Theresa has a master's degree in HR management and a certified member of the Society of Human Resources Management.
