REDEMPTION BIBLE CHAPEL

Redemption is committed to the Bible's teaching that Elders are to oversee the various functions of the local church. The Bible's teaching on leadership in the church is found in 1 Timothy 3:1-16 and Titus 1:5-9... Our Mission is to Glorify God through the fulfillment of the Great Commission, in the spirit of the Great Commandment... The Bible teaches that deacons lead by serving (Acts 6). We believe our ministry team leaders and selected faithful participants on their teams function as deacons and deaconesses even though we don't use the title deacon/deaconess. Deacons/deaconesses are simply faithful, godly servants in the church. The qualifications for deacons/deaconesses are listed in 1 Timothy 3:8-13 which focuses on their character and walk.
