SMITH AND SEVERSON - Key Persons
As President of Smith and Severson Builders, David Smith has been leading the company on a successful path by utilizing his past successes, extensive experience and impeccable reputation in the construction industry. David started in the construction industry in 1992 working for a large union subcontractor as a Project Engineer. He has also served as a Project Manager for both the general contractor and subcontractor for a variety of project types and sizes. For over 20 years, David has been excelling at serving clients' needs by tailoring a swift and accurate response to ensure the success of all his projects.
Juan has served as a superintendent for over ten year overseeing a variety of projects. His attention to details has allowed him to finish jobs strong and leave clients impressed. Juan is responsible for all job site actives, coordinating subcontractors, and quality controls.
As Office Administrator, Lacy provides administrative support to the Office Manager and Superintendents. She oversees insurance, closeouts, and releases for all projects. Lacy takes pride in being detail-oriented and being a team player for the office.
Mike comes to Smith and Severson with three years experience as a project manager. His strong leadership keeps clients happy and wanting to do more work with Smith and Severson. Notably, he has overseen he company's work at 1245 Wilshire Street, a complex multi-floor medical tower. He is responsible for overseeing pre-construction items such as design review and budget development. In addition, he manages all aspects of the construction phase, which includes managing subcontractors and change orders, and implementing the project schedule.
Moises followed the footsteps of his father and entered the construction industry right out of high school. His youthful energy is valued at job sites, and he is quick to assist with any project. As Assistant Superintendent, Moises provides management support to Superintendents and oversees many aspects of job site activities.

With 30 years of construction experience, Moses is the Superintendent for Smith and Severson Builders. His strong leadership skills have enabled him to consistently produce finished projects which exceeds clients' expectations, and all within demanding time frames. Moses has managed hundreds of tenant improvement projects in a variety of project types and sizes. He is responsible for scheduling all jobsite activities, coordinating subcontractors and quality controls. He is always dedicated to his projects and works diligently to ensure the quality and success.
Shanda has been with Smith and Severson since day 1 and brings over 20 years of experience with the construction industry. As Operations Manager, she oversees all aspects of the company's billing and accounting. She prides herself on accuracy and responsiveness to client's needs. A workhorse, Shanda often works the extra hours to keep the office running smoothly for all.
Thad has served as a superintendent for over 10 years overseeing a variety of complex projects. His strong leadership has allowed him to tackle complex problems and manage challenging time demands. He has overseen the multi-phase Millennium Space System's project and delivered high quality construction. Thad is responsible for all jobsite activities, coordinating subcontractors, and quality controls.
