The UK planning system is complex, ever-changing and under-resourced to cope with the demands of the housing shortage. With many years of successful experience in the planning system, South and Seventeen is able to identify development opportunities, assess potential sites, prepare planning schemes and deliver high quality, beautifully designed homes... South and Seventeen converted this tired light industrial site into a residential building. We were very strict about the materials and footprint of our design. We worked closely with the local authority in producing an economically and environmentally sustainable outcome, and we did everything to respect the wishes of the local community. The project was completed earlier than the anticipated completion date and under budget.
