Dr. Graham Cobb

Dr. Graham Cobb was born and raised in North Bay, ON.; He completed his Dental School, Medical School and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training at Dalhousie University, in Halifax Nova Scotia. He then completed a Head and Neck Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship in Portland Oregon at Legacy Emanuel Hospital and the Providence Portland Cancer Center. Dr. Cobb then joined the Faculty at Western University (formerly the University of Western Ontario) where was a full-time Professor at Western University and instructor to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency training program before re-locating to Calgary. Currently Dr. Cobb is the Section Head for Dentistry and Oral Health for the AHS- Calgary Zone. His experience has led to relevant training in complicated oral cavity and facial surgery and reconstruction. Dr. Cobb is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Canada in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr Cobb maintains clinical appointments in the Section of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Surgical Oncology in the Calgary Zone for AHS. He is also the part owner of two private oral surgery practices in Calgary - South Calgary Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Mahogany Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Miller Smith

Dr. Miller Smith was born and raised in Calgary and obtained his Dental degree at the University of Alberta and underwent additional Hospital Dentistry training in San Antonio, Texas. He then pursued his Medical degree and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery training at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He completed a fellowship in Head & Neck Oncology, Microvascular Surgery and Craniofacial Reconstruction overseas in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Dr. Smith is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and a board examiner for the college. He is actively involved in the Cleft lip and Palate/Craniofacial and Multidisciplinary Dental programs at the Alberta Children's Hospital, and on the Head and Neck Tumour Board at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. He continues to teach undergraduate dental students and orthodontic residents at the University of Alberta, and Otolaryngology and Plastic Surgery Residents in training in Calgary. Dr. Smith is current Site Lead for Pediatric Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at the Alberta Children's Hospital, and is the OMFS liaison for Quality insurance and Office of Surgical Research for the Department of Surgery. He recently completed a term as President of the Canadian Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons and remains actively involved with the profession at a Local, Provincial and National level. He has published numerous articles and co-authored several textbook chapters with a special interest in Tissue Engineering, His current interests lie in virtual surgical planning and personalized medicine with the use of customized surgical implants. His practice remains active with all facets of Oral maxillofacial surgery including complex jaw surgery, obstructive sleep apnea surgery and surgical reconstruction of tumour and head & neck cancer patients.

Dr. Tanya Rouleau

Dr. Tanya Rouleau was raised in Medicine Hat. She obtained her dental degree from the University of Saskatchewan and completed both general practice and an oral medicine residency at Carolinas Medical Center, in Charlotte, North Carolina. She successfully completed her American Board of Oral Medicine Diplomate examinations and holds a Fellowship in Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. She has made numerous presentations in the field of dentistry and oral medicine. Dr. Rouleau is a General Dentist limiting her practice to Oral Medicine.
