Mr. Saad Rasool

Mr. Saad Rasool is a lawyer based in Lahore. He received his BA (Hons) degree in Economics and Business from Lafayette College, in 2002. Graduating Summa Cum Laude, he joined Merrill Lynch in the Asset Backed Finance Group, New York, as a Financial Analyst, and worked on numerous transactions in the Structured Finance sector. In the year 2004 he was promoted to the position of an Associate, and in 2006, upon graduating from ML- Wharton Business Finance Institute, he was promoted to Vice President in the Global Structured Finance & Investment Banking Group of Merill Lynch in New York, where he worked in bond financing, mortgages, loan origination and real estate sectors. Thereafter, in 2008, he received a degree in law (LL.B Hons.) from University of London, and later did his Masters in Law (LLM), in the year 2011 from Harvard Law School, with a concentration in Constitutional Law, and he was the Commencement Speaker for his graduating class. His professional activities extend to a wide array of areas, including Civil, Criminal and Constitutional Law. Over the past some years, he has also been part of the faculty at the Lahore University of Management and Sciences (LUMS), teaching, inter alia, Contract Law, Comparative Constitutional Law and Muslim Personal Law. He is also the Program Director of the Gender Equality Project funded by the USAID at LUMS, and has previously, offered courses on Media Laws at Punjab University. Mr. Rasool frequently speaks at conferences, workshops and colloquia around the world. He writes a weekly column for The Nation, which subsequently also appears in Nawa-i- Waqt. He frequently contributes to other leading national newspapers including Dawn, The News and Pakistan Today, and has also written for international news organization such as Al-Jazeera.

Soha Sohail

Soha Sohail is a young litigator with proven expertise that enable her to be an invaluable resource at S.R Law. She has obtained her law degree from the University of London. Previously, she worked as a corporate associate at one of the leading law firms in Islamabad. Her critical-thinking, adaptability, and creativity is a novel characteristic for young lawyers of her age. Her exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to critically evaluate legal lacunas, serves the best interest of the clients.
