Established in 1977, Student Legal Services is dedicated to serving the legal needs of Michigan State University students. Sponsored by Student Government - the Associated Students of Michigan State Universit y (ASMSU) and the Council of Graduate Students (COGS) - and funded by student tax dollars, Student Legal Services provides FREE professional legal assistance and representation to eligible students through a contract with the law firm of Jeffries and Associates, PLLC... ​Our mission at Jeffries and Associates, PLLC is to help students resolve their legal situations so that they can focus on school. We do this by providing high quality legal services through an easily accessible program that is responsive to their needs as clients and respectful of them as students.
