Ajai D. Smith is an associate attorney at Stowe Law Firm. She is from Georgetown, SC. Ajai attended the University of South Carolina-Columbia where she majored in political science and minored in criminal justice. She received her Bachelor of Arts in the spring of 2017. In the fall of 2019, she began attending North Carolina Central University School of Law (May 2022) where she participated in multiple organizations including Phi Alpha Delta (serving as the Clerk in her 2L year), Trial Advocacy Board (placing in the top two for the opening statement competition), and the Black Law Students Association, serving as Vice President and later as President in her 2L and 3L years respectively. During undergrad she participated in SAAVY (women's empowerment group) A Touch of Faith Gospel Choir, Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, Sigma Alpha Lambda Honor Society.
Ms. Smith enjoys serving her clients and being an advocate for those that society would not otherwise hear. She also enjoys providing counsel for those who have encountered difficult legal situations, representing those with criminal charges and traffic offenses. She believes that every client matters, understanding that there is no "one-size fits all" approach. She tailors her client's specific situations to the law to get them the best outcomes possible.
In her spare time, Ajai enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies and television, shopping, traveling, and trying new restaurants. She also spends time cultivating her non-profit organization, Kesha A. Rudolph Memorial Foundation, Inc which emphasizes the importance of academic excellence and community service.

Mr. Stowe takes pride in being a criminal defense attorney. He focuses his practice on traffic violations, criminal defense, DWI defense, and post-conviction (expungements) relief.
