SUMMERVILLE-BOYKIN MORTUARY

Summerville-Boykin Mortuary, Inc. was founded in 1990 by the late Albert Summerville and the late Charles Boykin to satisfy the needs of North Carolina families. This establishment has provided Sampson and surrounding counties with superior service and compassion for more than two decades. Charles Boykin went to be with the Lord in 1999. From this point forward, Albert Summerville operated the Mortuary. On May 7, 2020 Summerville departed his earthly life. A few months later, Tryphina Wiseman, former president of the North Board of Funeral Service and proprietor of Wiseman Mortuary, Inc. in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Mario Jackson (Founder of C&J Financial, a funeral funding company, and Owner of Gasden Memorial Funeral Home in Gasden, AL) saw the need to keep the mortuary open in order to continue providing care to families in Sampson and surrounding counties.
