SunStone Maritime Group is the Danish parent company of the Group. Founded in 1990, SunStone was originally a passenger ferry and large cruise ship owning management company. In 2003, SunStone switched its focus towards the expedition cruise industry and, since 2012, has exclusively been a tonnage provider to the expedition cruise market... SunStone Holdings was founded in 2021 in Funchal, in the Portuguese island of Madeira. As the vessels of SunStone Maritime Group transfer to Madeira, SunStone Holdings oversees commercial and strategic management of the vessels. The companies in Madeira currently employ 15 people and is continuously expanding.
